I checked out FBS Combat Club while I was visiting from out of town. I reached out to the owner, Chloe, about dropping in to a class to get some a few rounds in. Chloe was super welcoming and even let me know me borrow a spare kimono as I forgot to pack mine in my luggage. That A3 gi came in clutch! I’ve trained BJJ for 8 years and have stepped foot in a ton of academies across the US. The instructors at FBS were very knowledgeable, the class was organized, the mats were clean, and most of all… the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Definitely check them out if you’re local to Knoxville, or just visiting from out of town!
FBS Combat is hands-down one of the best places to train. The coaches are highly skilled, supportive, and great at working with every skill level. The atmosphere is friendly and motivating, making it ideal for both beginners and serious fighters. With flexible class options and a strong, welcoming community, it’s the perfect place to grow, improve, and push your limits.
Have been long time members of the gym but decided to give BJJ a chance one day and have absolutely loved FBS Combat Club as well! A great safe environment for everyone! Whether you’re training to compete, learn self defense, or just here for exercise - the free trial week is awesome to check it out. Love the team I have joined and management is great. Especially great for females & beginners!
I love this club. The coaches, Greg and Chloe, are great. They have a veritable knowledge of the art of Brazilian jiu jitsu and make it fun to learn. The club also has a family environment to it, which you don’t find often. I have learned a lot here and plan to continue to for a long time!
FBS Combat Club has completely changed my life, and if you’re looking to be on the mats, this is where you should be. We put our all into making sure you get the best instruction and our teammates make each other better. Come train alongside me and other athletes who will help you reach the top levels of your game
Thank you Chloe and Prof Greg for the great class, and thank you everyone at FBS for all the great rolls and hospitality. Was here while the hurricane in Asheville was going on and was able to get an hour long class and a half hour of rolls totally free. Learned a couple of triangle entries. Appreciate you so much and will be by again whenever in town.
