Zombie BJJ is a welcoming gym with a friendly, respectful, safe, and fun community of training partners and knowledgeable coaches. The diverse membership lends to the positive atmosphere, with a mix of ethnic backgrounds, body types and weight classes, fitness levels, training experience, goals, styles, and ages. It's also an excellent option for women, with an ever-growing pool of female training partners to work with and a once weekly women's only class led by a female coach. While their main focus is BJJ, they do offer some judo, wrestling, and boxing as well, with BJJ classes available daily. Overall, whether you plan to attend casually or become a serious competitor, Zombie is an excellent gym to enjoy the wide variety of benefits BJJ offers - a healthy mental and physical workout, increased confidence and self-esteem, fun, community, social time, and even competition. Signing up last spring was one of the best decisions I've ever
Love this gym! The owner/head coach Jared runs great classes and is very personable. Gina, who is the head of the kids program is also a Behavior Specialist working with kids by profession and has a great skill set to work with the kids, along with the other kids Coaches. My 6 year old daughter grew through their kids program from the Little’s class and is now in the advanced class! The Kickboxing and Muay Thai program is also developing and very fun along with Jiu Jitsu. Give it a try!!!
I've been training at Zombie for over four years now, and it's truly become my home since moving away from Philadelphia. What keeps me coming back is the community, culture, and the coaching. Coach Jared is incredibly detail-oriented—he has a sharp eye for catching the key elements I might be missing in my techniques. Even when our styles don’t fully align, his guidance consistently helps me make meaningful improvements in my unorthodox game. One of the things I appreciate most is the variety. Whether I want to focus on strength and conditioning, sharpen my striking, or dive into specific areas of my jiu-jitsu game, the options are always available. I’m also lucky to have training partners who support and collaborate with me, which makes a huge difference. I’m grateful for everything I’ve learned here so far and look forward to continuing my journey with this community along with the other Lehigh Valley schools I visit. My goal is to gr
I just celebrated my one-year anniversary of training at Zombie, and my experience here has been phenomenal. The classes have a nice variety of difficulty and range from very beginner friendly to more technical advanced classes. Each instructor is very helpful and makes each class fun and unique. The community at the gym is great. Everyone is supportive of each other's progress, and more advanced members are always willing to give you helpful tips. The space is also very clean and well maintained. Come check it out!
My family and I are at the gym almost everyday and we love it here! From Gi and No-Gi classes, to the kids classes and even the new women’s class, there is something for everyone! Jeremy is a great coach and business owner. He takes the time to break things down for easy learning and is always open to answering any questions. The other staff members on the team are very knowledgeable and friendly as well! The gym has truly felt like another home and everyone in it is like family. I recommend our gym for all ages!
Very friendly staff and super welcoming! I found that everyone was really supportive as well! However, as a beginner, I do not know if BJJ is worth the amount of money. Probably best for those with enough free time to commit three days/nights a week or at least have some level of experience. Look for a partner who is willing to help you in the learning process. If you have the time to devote three days a week as a beginner, you may be able to gain a lot out of it. Unfortunately, as a working professional, that was simply not feasible. Start BJJ before you have a career lol, I feel the learning curve is high. Great place though!
