My son started with LVMA in Fogelsville about 2 months ago. He's never been one for team sports so we were looking for something that would make him feel accomplished and proud while pushing himself to learn new things. LVMA was a great fit all of these! The instructors are great people who put genuine care into helping you improve your physical health and your self confidence. He loves doing classes here so much that he loudly, and frequently, declares that he WILL be a black belt someday. I was so impressed with the staff and program that I joined the adult beginner class about 3 weeks after him. I can not say enough great things about the program, the instructors and the staff here. I would recommend anyone thinking about it to come in for an introductory lesson. Its free and I bet you will be happy you did.
We love LVMA Fogelsville, they have become a second family to us!! You can't find any other program that is for both kids and adults, that teaches the skills and levels of karate along with incorporating core values within the same program!! It has helped my daughter (she was 7 yrs old when she started) build confidence and strength within herself along with teaching focus and discipline all within a respectful environment on the mat! They even got Mom involved (I started at 33 yrs old) and now it's become a family journey that we look forward to each week!!! My daughter is now 9 and she is testing for her silver belt shortly and I am now in intermediate class as a green belt testing for high green belt soon!! We can't wait to see how our karate journey will continue to unfold here at LVMA!!
Lehigh ValleyMartial Arts has been amazing for my son! He started as a four year old and had not attended any day care or preschools prior to starting little ninjas. After just coming off covid lockdown I was looking for something to help with his high energy level and to begin to acclimate him to a group environment before preschool. LVMA delivered in a big way! He is now four weeks into preschool and doing great. My son struggles with change and I can honestly say without all of the staff at LVMA his transition into preschool would not have been as smooth. Sensei Erica has been wonderful and extremely accommodating despite challenging times. She stepped in on several occasions to help when my son was feeling shy or unwilling to participate. She always knew what to say and demonstrates an excellent understanding of child behavior. Joshu Josh deserves a medal for his unwavering consistency and patients working with all these young kids.
I first came to LVMA with my kids for an honor party for my kid’s classmate, I really liked how they interact with the kids and how they teach them respect and discipline on top of karate skills. They allowed my kids to come try out for a couple of weeks before committing to anything. They know how to deal with different personalities in the classroom and I really enjoy watching them teach and how much my kids have learned and have grown more confident in themselves.
I am seeing significant growth in my son in just a few months since he started training at LVMA Fogelsville location. My son with ADHD and behavioral challenges is getting on track slowly and steadily with his training in martial arts. Sensei Mark and all other instructors are exceptional and kind. They go above and beyond to make sure your child gets support and attention he/she needs. This is the only group activity I have found that has been a perfect fit for my son who needs the balance of social activity and individual support. All the instructors also make learning very much fun! I highly recommend LVMA program for building strength, discipline, flexibility, self-confidence, agility, and leadership qualities in your child. Check out their adult group lessons too, you will find the most amazing group where everyone helps each other work on their skills and achieve goals while keeping it light and fun!
We have been coming to LVMA - Fogelsville since 2012. The lessons learned on the mat are invaluable. Respect, compassion, courage, responsibility, and self discipline are only a few of the things that are ingrained into the students on day one. My kids continue to learn not only how to protect themselves, but to also be better humans. I am happy that we made the decision to join LVMA. I have a family of martial artists who have found some amazing friends through training, who we now consider family.
