Sensei Rob, is by far, the absolute best thing you can do for your children! LEMA has been wonderful for my son. He was a very shy & very quiet 5 year old when he began, just months later he is more outgoing, open, and his confidence is growing. He looks forward to his classes and moving up. You can tell Sensei really cares about his students, and runs an amazing program. The instructors keep the kids motivated, and engaged the entire time. Even sitting the kids down for a few moments to talk about important age appropriate current issues such as listening to parents, how and when to use martial arts, safety, ect. The kids enjoy and we as parents appreciate! LEMA is a family atmosphere where everyone seems to know everyone. There are always extra actives for the kids to participate in - Holiday parties, and movie nights are my sons favorites. If you are looking for the right place, it's LEMA. You can't get any better!
Leading Edge Martial Arts, came highly recommended from a friend of mine who has worked with the instructors as well as Sensei Rob, in different venues in the community. I was told that they were great with the children and really took the time to encourage them and help them with self discipline and focus. As a father, of a son with 2 diagnosis, I must admit at first I was slightly concerned that he was going to be a distraction in the classes. Let me tell you that the recommendation was nothing short of being spot on! Sensei Rob has worked with my son for over a year now. Josiah has worked his way to a green belt and has become more disciplined and focused. A few times my son wanted to give up because he was frustrated. Sensei Rob and his staff are extremely personable & knowledgeable. At Leading Edge there is a sense of community, discipline, and family values. LEMA is the best martial arts school in the Lehigh Valley! I would highly recommend them and I cannot imagine my son training anywhere else!
I am so impressed by the staff at LEMA and their dedication to the students. They have brilliantly pivoted from in-person classes to interactive online instruction. The owner, Sensei Rob, is so invested in the success of our children's experience. His instruction and interaction with the kids is full of positive motivation. While we can't wait to get back to in-person classes, we are so thankful for the excellent virtual martial arts experience. This would be a perfect fit for any family looking for a martial arts school that provides not only great instruction but personalized attention.
EXCELLENT and ONE OF A KIND martial arts school in the Lehigh Valley! My son has been training at LEMA for 7 years with Sensei Rob and his team, and the impact has been immense. He has learned a great blend of martial arts with a focus on self-defense. He has acquired strong self-awareness, discipline and confidence! While the training is tough and goal-based, Sensei Rob is always available to support my son. And, he makes it fun. The classes are never the same, and there is often laughter. Close to a year ago, my now 16 year old daughter expressed an interest in martial arts. She plays competitive volleyball but wanted to try something that was her and her alone. I contacted LEMA to see if she could go in and see how it was, if she would be interested, etc. She met with Sensei Rob and loved it. She joined, and shortly thereafter, her father decided to join as well. Both my husband and daughter love the facility, the staff and classes. They love the flexibility of being able to schedule classes when convenient for them. And bonus, some of my daughter's closest friends are people that she has met through the school.
