Great place to train & build relationship amongst training partners. I’ve been to a few Jiu Jitsu gyms & this one has by far embodied what family & culture is all about, from drilling techniques pivotal for developing your skills in Jiu Jitsu all the way down to your life off the mats, rest assured the head instructor & everyone else will have your best interest at heart. I myself no longer have the luxury to train Jiu Jitsu full time as I would like, as the Lord is calling me to other endeavors in life right now. If I am ever to recommend a gym to a beginner who may be unsure of where to begin there Journey this gym is my #1 recommendation. Be present, be willing to accept help & be taught, and give 100% every time you step on the mats & it is my guarantee you will reap the fruits of your labor. May God bless you who is reading this!
I have trained at a few places over the years, and RPBJJ academy really stands out for a number of reasons: The coaching is detailed and easy to follow, whether you’re brand new or have years on the mat. The class schedule is convenient, they offer plenty of options that make it easy to fit training into a busy week. There’s a nice mix of belt levels and experience, so you’re always learning and getting good rounds in. The gym is clean, safe, and well-run. The vibe is always positive and family- oriented, with coaches and students who genuinely support each other. It would be hard not to make new friends here. Competition is encouraged but not forced upon people who just want to come in and train at their own pace. I also have to mention the awesome logo and sharp-looking rash guards and gis! Once you come in for a trial and see for yourself, you will be convinced this is where you belong.
My son has been training for 6 months, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision to join. The environment is incredibly welcoming, and I felt at home from the very first class. The instructors are top-notch, breaking down complex techniques in a way that’s easy to understand. The curriculum is structured to help everyone progress, whether you’re a beginner or more advanced. The facilities are always clean, and the sense of community among the students is amazing. If you’re looking for a place to train jiu-jitsu, I highly recommend them🙌
RPB Jiu-Jitsu creates a truly welcoming environment. I remember attending my first trial class and signing up right away. The professors and coaches are outstanding, always demonstrating their passion for teaching. They consistently put in the effort to ensure that everyone understands the techniques and progresses at a steady pace. Their genuine care for their students is top tier, with a strong focus on skill development. The variety of classes they offer—including striking, wrestling, and MMA provides us all with a well-rounded experience that builds confidence while learning the art of Jiu-Jitsu.
I trained there for a while until my son was born and I wanted to spend the afternoons with the family instead of training. I always felt welcome at this Gym. I liked Trevor involving his family in it and it really felt like a family friendly atmosphere. The teachers were very helpful and competent. They definitely helped with my rusty ground game and worked with me to catch up to my peers. I'm not enrolled now but I am really looking forward to starting back up when my little guy is old enough to begin their kids classes. I definitely recommend this school.
After visiting several other places to begin my journey to find the right fit, I came across Renzo Gracie in Royal Palm. As a female, I immediately felt comfortable and safe and was especially drawn by their classes scheduled exclusively for women, taught by coach Bridget, a skilled instructor who really cares about each individual student on a personal level. All instructors come with their unique style, but they are all the same in that they are professional, caring and humble. The entire staff treats everyone like family. am so happy to find a place that feels like a second home.
