My boys have been coming to the jiu jitsu classes for over a year now. We originally joined because my older son was being bullied in school and we wanted him to be able to defend himself if needed. Within 3 classes he gained the confidence to stand up for himself. We have not only watched him become more confident, but also gain flexibility and athleticism he didn’t previously have. Our 5 year old also attends classes and just loves learning from owners Randy and Phil (and their son’s who teach classes as well). We really love and enjoy the family atmosphere in the gym! They not only teach many forms of martial arts, they teach discipline and respect for yourself and others all while creating a really fun environment for everyone!
As a parent, I couldn’t be more thrilled with Senjutsu! The instructors are outstanding, and I’m amazed at how they manage to keep the kids engaged and respectful without ever needing to raise their voices. My children have gained so much confidence and respect, and they absolutely love every class and camp session, where discipline is balanced with just the right amount of humor. The instructors are incredibly patient and ensure that each child truly understands what they’re learning. I also really appreciate being able to observe the classes without any distractions, and the gym for parents to use while the kids wait is a fantastic perk. Now, if only I could push myself to use it.
Senjutsu Martial Arts is an amazing place to train Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai! The environment is fun, supportive, and extremely welcoming for both beginners and experienced students. I love that there’s no contract commitment everything is simple month-to-month, which you don’t see at other gyms. Randy and Phil, are awesome and truly care about every student. The instructors are great with kids and adults, and the whole atmosphere makes you actually look forward to training. Highly recommend!
I have found a gem in Lake Worth. Especially as a homeschool parent! You have to check this place out. They make it so easy because they offer a free trial class, even easier because they are a direct pay provider! My children love this place! And I did not anticipate my girls wanting to join along with my son, but after the trial class all of them wanted to continue going and make it a point to get all of their activities done each day so they are able to go to each class offered to them. The coaches are awesome, and the owners are incredible. So laid-back, but also so professional, and they are great teachers! I’ve not found an activity like this before. Seriously, above and beyond. I only have kind things to say about this place. And not traditional in the sense of paying for multiple uniforms and tests but there are the opportunities for competitions
Senjutsu is by far the most amazing mixed martial arts facility that I’ve ever attended! It’s perfect for people of all ages, sizes, and abilities. I thought my sciatica and my sons ASD diagnosis would be a concern for Ju Jitsu, but the entire team truly cares and work with you at your pace. Sensei Randy, Phil, and Rodell are incredibly skilled and professional and are eager to share with all—determined to launch you to constant improvement. My daughter has been attending for a month now and she has been progressing so well and is eager for every class. My boyfriend attends the Kickboxing/Striking classes and in less than 6 months he won 1st place at the first tournament he competed in! I’m telling you, do not hesitate to come in and be a part of this amazing family. The first class is FREE—you’ve got nothing to lose and everything to gain!
The owners, Phill and Randy are great! The two main coaches that my daughter is taught by, Brandon and Wonka are great with the kids as well. I have nothing but good things to say about Senjutsu and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good place for their kids to learn some mixed martial arts. I am glad that we found them and that my daughter is doing well there. We also had our daughter in their summer camp and she had a blast and is already asking if she can go to camp there next summer! If you are on the fence about it, they also offer a free introduction class that you can bring your child or children to so they can try it out before you make any decisions about signing them up or not. All in all a great place with great people!
