I have trained with Professor Bernardo for over a year, his group classes and one on one private lessons have grown my skill with jiu jitsu incredibly. With his help I was able to compete and win my first ever tournament match. Professor Bernardo is very passionate about teaching jiu jitsu and is eager to help all who step on his mats. His ability to create a warm and welcoming environment for every person that walks into his gym is astounding. A few months ago my wife and I were in search of a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school for our 5 year old son. GB Lake Park came HIGHLY recommended - and rightfully so. GB Lake Park provides a clean and welcoming environment to train, learn, and have fun. Professor Bernardo does an exceptional job simplifying techniques and ensuring all students receive the attention they need to grasp the concepts being taught. I have been training at Gracie Barra Lake Park for a little less than a year now, and it has been truly life-changing. Wow, what a wonderful experience Gracie Barra Lake Park has been for our family! We have been to other Gracie Barra locations in the past. However, we are fortunate that this one has been the best and such a convenient location as well! Our son is 7 years old, and Professor Bernardo has been particularly special for these children. His patience, dedication, knowledge, and skill have given our son a huge confidence boost while absolutely having a blast with other children within the classes.
