I've been bringing both my boys to train at Gracie Barra Royal Palm Beach for a couple months, and I can confidently say it's one of the best decisions I've made! I always wanted to do Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, and never gotten a chance to do. I have done Judo, Muay Thai, Karate, and Tae Kwon Do and even some Shaolin Kung Fu. Overall, Jiu-jitsu exceeded all my expectations. It's seriously very fun and nothing like the other martial arts I have practiced. Jiu-jitsu is actually very practical, a great workout and great self-defense! I have been training at Gracie Barra since day 1 of opening. Professor Brian is knowledgeable, professional and great!!!! I love it there and being there with the other students, it feels like a family! Very supportive and encouraging! I go to the 6am class! I love it and recommend everyone to join Gracie Barra! Train with me in the mornings!
If you're interested in learning BJJ, or if you're already a BJJ practitioner seeking to evolve your game to higher level, then look no further than training under Professor Brian DeMuro. He is extremely knowledgeable, talented, has a huge emphasis on motivation for his students, and overall has very big heart. I've had the great pleasure of training under Professor Brian. I will never forget the time I was feeling down in the dumps and very discouraged because felt I had plateaued on my BJJ journey. I didn't tell anyone and kept it to myself. Brian has a way of noticing things. To my surprise, he contacted me that very night after training and gave me some incredibly motivational advice that made me get right back on the mats the very next day, and has helped me throughout my journey ever since!
This is a wonderful place if you want to learn the art of Jiu-Jitsu. The atmosphere is extremely welcoming and it honestly feels like a family. The Instructor is phenomenal-he has years of experience and it shows. He pays close attention to detail and will not hesitate to work with you or show you the techniques or answer any questions you may have. I absolutely love the environment and the people. It’s a great place to learn, have fun, make friends and be a part of something amazing. I would not trade it for any other Jiu-Jitsu school.
I stopped by Gracie Barra Royal Palm Beach to check it out when I was in town. I’m an experienced brown belt who has been training for over 10 years. That being said I felt the level of instruction outstanding! I found Professor Brian to be extremely skilled and competent. He has the unique ability to break down the most complex steps in a way that all levels can understand and grasp. He’s engaging style, his humor and his professionalism is some of the best I’ve ever seen. If you really want a valuable experience, with a welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend GB RPB. This school has classes for all levels at all age groups. I would feel comfortable sending any one of my friends and family here to train
Recommend this place 100%! I was looking for classes for my 4yr old son and as soon as I found Gracie Barra Royal Palm Beach I knew they were the ones. I registered my son, which he is loving it and enjoying it to the fullest, and my 11yr old daughter was hesitant as to whether or not she should join, Professor Brian and Fabrizio convienced her to give it a try and now she is fully in love with it and already at week #3 she is already taking down kids double her size. I cant thank enough Professor Brian and Coach Carol for making the class fun for them and at the same time teaching them how to defend themsleves. If your looking for a place where your kids can gain self esteem, this is what your looking for!
