I chose Rasai Jiu Jitsu after visiting other schools first. One of the things that convinced me about Rasai Jiu Jitsu was the friendly treatment and how they explained the Jiu Jitsu process from the very beginning. The classmates I've met have always been willing to help me improve with practice and detail. I'm enjoying a great experience in every class, which motivates me to keep learning. First, the discipline, and then the fun of applying what I've learned. There are many serious situations that make me reconsider, stay calm, focus and look for what to do next time. Jiu Jitsu has also changed my personal life. In reality, for me, everything about Jiu Jitsu is positive. Thank you Sergio and every one that is part of Rasai Team 🤙
Rasai is an incredible place to train bjj. Sergio is one of the nicest instructors with incredible knowledge and a great teaching style that allows all levels to understand and get better at jiu jitsu. Classes are structured and challenging, making it a great workout and beneficial, not just for bjj but also physically challenging. Sophia is an amazing instructor as well. With her years of experience teaching kids, she runs a great program to help kids gain skills and confidence. Hands down an amazing place for a competitor, kid or hobbyist to train and become part of a community.
Rasai Jiu Jitsu is a great, brand new gym. Very clean, and top level instruction. The head teacher, Professor Sergio, is as good as it gets. I love the details that he gives. I have been training for a while, but the little details that he gives helps me to improve my game. The class is taught in a way that is easy to understand, and everyone is extremely welcoming. If you are looking for a place to train Jiu Jitsu, you definitely have to come here and try a class.
We came to Rasai for a friends and family day event, and my kids fell in love. The coaches are great with the kids. They keep them engaged and learning for the duration of the class, all while making the skill being learned broken down step by step, practiced with constructive adjustments to master skill of day, and keeping it fun. Sergio, the owner, is so accommodating and understanding as is every staff member in the dojo. The facility is clean, has a nice changing room with 3 stalls, storage shelves, and a bathroom. They sell some merch, snacks, and drinks on site as well. Very family friendly.
Professor Sergio and the team at Rasai are an amazing group of respectful practitioners. I love coming here to cross train for the applicable techniques taught and for the welcoming vibe! I always feel safe training here which is important to a 102 lb 40- something year old female! Rasai is an asset to the jiu-jitsu community and is a wonderful place to train for those new to jiu-jitsu as well as the seasoned practitioner.
This is my first time practicing any form of martial arts, it can be intimidating to begin any combat sport, but training at Rasai has been the best experience for me. The instructors at Rasai are extraordinary!They’re invested in the growth of their students, and developing a safe learning environment for students of all ages. They lead with respect and care, and this is also emulated by everyone who calls this gym home. Each class is rooted in technique, sequenced drills, and spars. I’ve learned so much in a very short time. I recommend this space for anyone looking to get started in BJJ, or up their game. World class champions train here.
