This place is a well-established BJJ academy. The professors and instructors are highly skilled, detail-oriented, and focus on helping you learn. The fellow grapplers are respectful to each other, and higher belts work with lower belts to help everyone progress. I highly recommend coming here to continue or start your Jiu-Jitsu journey; you will be glad you did. I have visited many academies throughout my martial arts journey, and this place is truly one of the best to be a part of. For the parents who have kids thinking about getting into Jiu-Jitsu, look no further. I, for one, don't have kids in the program, but I get to class early and stretch. I watch the kids class, and those professors and instructors are excellent with the kids. They create a fun, engaging, and disciplined environment where each kid feels a part of the academy.
I have been a member of this gym for over a year now. I wanted a gym that had a legit BJJ coach that gave promotions based on displayed skills on the mat. Bruno Mendes is what one may call "old school". He expects his students to show up to class because he is making martial artists not members. I love the depth of knowledge he provides. When Bruno is not available due to his commitments to teach at seminars or help students in tournaments his stand-in Tony Trammell is outstanding. Tony is a great addition to the BJJ team and helps me grow tremendously. The Muay Thai is great too. You have three different style of coaches that will help your striking to reach the next level. There is not a person that smiles more than coach Arjan Carlos Moreno because he loves what he does. He walks the class and provides needed adjustments on the spot. I dropped in for a lunch BJJ class while I was in town for work, and I’m so glad I did. For starters, everyone was incredibly welcoming and friendly. There’s a good number of active competitors here too, which always makes the environment a bit more fun imo. The high level of technique amongst the regular members (both juvenile and adults) definitely challenged me to sharpen my own. I really wish I could stick around for more classes!! It’s also a major bonus that the facility itself is STELLAR—plenty of mat space, cleanliness throughout the entire space, a shower, cubbies for personal belongings, etc. Honestly one of my favorite facilities I’ve been to so far (and that’s including international BJJ gyms). I couldn’t recommended this gym enough. You have to give it a try if you’re nearby!!
I've been training BJJ here since I moved from Brazil in summer of 2014. Their Jiu-Jitsu program is run by one of the most respected and victorious team out there: Soul Fighters. All the coaches are world champion's level. There is a place for just anybody here, from someone making a living out of fighting to a regular dude like me that just wants to improve and stay healthy. The owner is a very funny guy and a good coach too. Their price is very reasonable for the high level of training you're getting. If you're looking for a place to train martial arts, look no further.
We enrolled our daughter , age 6, into Siam Star’s Muay Thai training about 2 months ago. Our daughter had expressed interest in MMA after watching a couple UFC women’s bouts on TV. The experience has surpaaased our initial expectations, and we impressed with the level of attention each of the coaches pay towards the kids they’re training. Tomer is her Muay Thai coach and she loves working with him and looks forward to training every time. This place has rightfully earned their stars and I highly recommend this company.
Soul Fighters is the best place to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu! I have been training under Bruno “Tank” Mendes a name recognized in the bjj community for nine years now. I believe when people visit us they benefit from high level techniques and a welcoming and supportive environment to learn jiu jitsu at any level.
