It has been over a year since we found our home here at Academy of Champions with Professor Antonio and Professor Mari. As a Black Belt, it is a unique situation coming into a new school and feeling like it is a fit. Both have made me and my family feel as if we have always been here. In this past year, I have learned so much and greatly appreciate the opportunities I have to also teach classes. I'm passionate about being able to give back to Jiu Jitsu. They have created a great family-friendly environment, awesome instruction from 2 IBJJF trained referees, as well as competitors. From the kids' program to the adults, there is something for everyone. No matter what your personal goals are the Professor's and Students are all trying to help each other attain them. Come try a class and make Academy of Champions your home! See you on the mats!🙏
Academy of Champions Jiu Jitsu is truly an incredible place to train! Professor Antonio and Mari create such a welcoming and friendly environment that makes you feel like part of one big family from the moment you walk through the door. Their instruction is top-notch—thoughtfully detailed, patient, and tailored to help everyone improve, whether you’re a beginner or advanced. They genuinely care about their students and foster a supportive community that makes training both fun and fulfilling. If you’re looking for high-quality instruction and a family-like atmosphere, this is the place to be!
If you’re looking for an all around great BJJ gym , this is the place. Professors, Antonio and Mari have done a wonderful job creating a fun, educational and family oriented training environment. If you want to compete, get in shape or learn self defense, you can find it here! I especially love the training for our daughter! The instructors take the time to not only physically train their students, but mentally encourage and uplift . If you’re new to Bjj, coming back to Bjj or looking for a new place to train, Academy of Champions is one of the most welcoming gyms you’ll find.
Professor Antonio was recommended to me by a trusted friend who noted his teaching style was exceptional. Going in to my first class I was expecting high level instruction but what I didn’t expect was how warm and welcoming the gym was. Professors Mari and Antonio made me feel like a part of a family right away and after one trial class I had made up my mind to train there. The culture of the gym is fantastic, the people I’ve met are also welcoming and friendly, and as a bonus I get amazing Jiu Jitsu instruction. I couldn’t be happier with my choice to be a part of this gym.
Professors Antonio and Mari are amazing people and have created a great culture at their academy. We attended a seminar before we even signed up and they were very welcoming. We were looking for a gym that had quality instruction and a family vibe. We found that at Academy of Champions. I love how involved they are in the Jiu Jitsu community. They referee at competitions and hold seminars. Professor Antonio is an active competitor, so he is supportive of my own competition goals. We are very happy that we made this academy our home and joined their family.
