I brought my son in this past Saturday because he’s shown a huge interest in learning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (thanks John Wick!)…. I had NO idea what to expect because we have never been in any sort of martial arts before but by the time we left my son was SO excited to join and become part of this amazing community! Tom met us there and he is a wealth of knowledge & experience! You can tell right away how passionate he is about what he does. Although it’s a business, he genuinely CARES. It is no surprise how passionate he is about his craft, it permeates the whole room! Tom was very engaging with my son and he even got him out on the mat with another boy his age. My son thought that was soooooo awesome!! Everyone there was so friendly & warm, you really get a sense of family here. I love the age-range too! Our family absolutely loves this dojo. It’s incredibly clean, the coaches are highly knowledgeable and professional, and the owner is down-to-earth with a genuine passion for teaching. From the staff to the students and parents, everyone is welcoming, friendly, and respectful. It truly feels like a second home and, most importantly, a safe place for my son to learn and grow. Everyone is treated with equal respect, and that means everything to us.
expert knowledge from an incredible instructor. Takes it seriously but in an informative way not a drill sergeant way. He wants everyone to succeed and is very passionate and has real world experiences to back up his reasoning why everyone should learn jujitsu. 4 classes a week at a reasonable time and at an affordable cost. Small class sizes but always enjoyable . Offers private lessons as well. Definitely join us here you won’t regret it
Coach tom was fantastic he helped me continue bjj even when money was tight and the school is phenomenal. coach tom hold group gatherings such as bowling, fishing, etc. It’s more of a family than just teaching class. 5 Stars I recommend everyone who is interested in bjj to give this school a shot and you won’t be disappointed
NEK is the Best classroom I could’ve ever walked into. Tom Walker has changed my life in Jiu-Jitsu forever. He takes his time with you & “walk-talks” you through training helping you with tremendous muscle memory game. I’m definitely a better person for it mentally & physically. Only regret I have is not coming in sooner. Thanks Coach Tom Walker!!
Great place to train and learn with a great instructor and everybody was very welcoming. Instructor Tom gave me lots of good advice first and second day in to help get me caught up with his class. Looking forward to keep training under him.
