I’ve had the chance to train with this team, and I can honestly say it was an amazing experience. The instructors are not only highly skilled, but also extremely patient and professional, making every class both challenging and enjoyable. They create a very welcoming environment, whether you’re a complete beginner or have been training for years. What impressed me the most was how they take the time to explain details and correct techniques in a way that really helps you improve without feeling overwhelmed. The atmosphere is positive, motivating, and respectful, it truly feels like a family on and off the mats. If you’re looking for a place to grow in Jiu-Jitsu and be surrounded by great people, I highly recommend this academy. You’ll feel comfortable from day one, and you’ll leave every class learning something new.
Sarasota if you are looking for an amazing BJJ gym look no further. I have trained with Professor Bruno for almost five years. I will say he creates champions and gives top notch instruction. Professor Bruno has helped trained the United States Military and has been ranked number 2 in the world by IBJJF. Professor Bruno’s son Junior has won many competitions and is very focused on technique and pushing the pace and is definitely worthy as a coach. Coach Fabiane is fantastic with children and is a fantastic jiu jitsu practitioner with many years of experience. You walk in as a student and become part of the family and when I say that I definitely mean it!!!
I had the privilege of training with Professor Bruno here in Philadelphia before he moved to Sarasota to open his own Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school. Bruno is more than just an incredible athlete—he truly lives the lifestyle he teaches. Dedicated, passionate, and disciplined, yet also very friendly and welcoming, he makes every student feel at home on the mats. Bruno is someone you look up to, both as a teacher and as a person. His love for the sport and the way he lives his life are inspiring. When he left Philadelphia, he left behind many people who miss him deeply, because he had such a positive impact on everyone here. Sarasota is lucky to have him, and I know his school will be a place where students not only learn Jiu Jitsu but also grow as people. Highly recommend training with him if you have the chance!
I am a student of Coach Bruno for over 5 years. His amazing coaching has helped me reach so many of my jiu jitsu goals. He runs safe and fun classes for men, women and children. It doesn’t matter how old or young you are there is a spot for you and Coach Bruno will make sure you learn what you need to. Jiujitsu is a great work out and it will help keep you in shape, doing warm ups, rolling and techniques.
