TFW’s one-month trial period is an excellent way to check out all of the classes, the community, and the coach's training style at a fair price. They offer a variety of classes, from grappling, Thai pads, kickboxing, weightlifting, MMA, and more. I loved the MMA conditioning classes. In my experience, they were primarily circuit training, and each class differed depending on the coach, so the change kept it interesting. This class finished with a partner exercise focused on a grappling technique; the coaches are attentive and provide excellent feedback as you practice! The Thai pads were also a favorite; in this class, you work with a partner on escalating combinations in orthodox and southpaw stances. It was challenging to hit and hold the pads in both stances, but I loved this element of the class!! Overall my experience was good, and if my schedule allowed me to go consistently during their hours in the evening (4 pm-8 pm) I would 10
By far the best MMA gym I have been to. It’s hard to describe how uniquely fantastic the TFW family is! Coaches LA and Mike were excellent trainers who made classes fun and incredibly safe. As a beginner, I appreciated how welcome and comfortable they made me feel, while still pushing me to improve. The other folks who train here are all friendly and there’s a delightful absence of any kind of bravado I would have expected from “fighting” gyms. People are willing to work with beginners and help them learn without making you feel incompetent. Most importantly, there’s an emphasis on technique and skills- building that ensures everyone is safe practicing at the right level. Somehow they maintain this welcoming space while still having a “no-bs, we’re here to train” attitude that makes you want to work hard. This place offers exactly the kind of intensity you want in an mma gym. I started off in the gender-equality MMA (GEMMA) classes but
If I went into all of the reasons why Train. Fight. Win. is an incredible gym, this review would be far too long. LA and Mike have worked to cultivate a gym for everyone. Conditioning workouts are built for each individual to work at their own level, fighting based classes have time where you can ask questions and they come check everyone's form. It truly is a place for those trying to up their fighting skills or those just wanting to get into fighting shape. The classes offered reflect how everyone is welcome. For example, beginner grappling will have fighters training with you, but they (and the coaches) will move at a pace that allows for everyone to practice and really understand every component of the moves. Being a shorter woman, I was worried about trying out grappling; however, Coach Mike has created a class where all of the women feel comfortable and can train without being overtaken by a larger and/or more experienced opponent
After a year at Train.Fight.Win, it's become more than just a gym; it's a second home. What sets Train.Fight.Win apart is not just its focus on physical fitness, but also its emphasis on community and culture. Here, everyone, from the coaches to members, cares about your progress and your well-being. It's refreshing to walk into a place where you're not just another face in the crowd, but rather a valued part of a supportive community. The classes are more than just workouts; they're opportunities to hone your skills in a technical and disciplined environment. Whether it's the conditioning classes or the specialized technique sessions, each class is designed to push you to your limits and help you improve. And the safety measures in place ensure that you can learn new techniques with confidence. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced martial art practitioner, if you're looking for a gym that feels like home, look no further than Tr
Absolutely love Train Fight Win (TFW)! This is hands down the best and most inclusive and positive gym I’ve been to. I always feel better after a session here! Coach LA and Coach Mike bring an incredible amount of experience to every session and know how to guide, challenge, and support every person who walks through the door. I had no MMA experience before coming to this gym a year ago, and today I feel like I’ve really advanced and each day I learn more and more from the coaches. What really sets TFW apart is the welcoming and encouraging environment they’ve built. No matter your background or fitness level you’ll feel like you belong here. There are a variety of classes based on your interests, including lifting and conditioning. Whether you’re competing for a fight or improving your general fitness, I highly recommend this gym and community.
I cannot recommend this place enough if you have an interest training in any of the programs they offer. All of the coaches were fantastic and want to see their students improve. All of the classes are fantastic, and would highly recommend just getting an unlimited plan for the month so that you can try all of them. I started training Kali here, and quickly moved to training MMA. The coaches are great, the other students are fantastic and friendly, and the skills picked up are incredible. Would highly recommend checking this place out if you have an interest in anything. Its a little less traditional and by the book, but for myself that was much better than being a strict class of basics and skill levels.
