I’ve trained at several Jiu Jitsu gyms over the years, and this place stands out in all the best ways. The facility is always clean and well-maintained — the mats, bathrooms, and common areas are spotless, which speaks volumes about how much pride the owners take in their space. The instruction is top-tier. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned competitor, the coaches are incredibly knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and genuinely care about each student’s progress. They break down techniques clearly and are always open to questions or helping you troubleshoot positions. What really sets this school apart, though, is the environment. It’s welcoming, supportive, and has a strong sense of community. Everyone trains hard, but there’s no ego — just a group of people who love Jiu Jitsu and want to help each other get better. If you’re thinking about trying Jiu Jitsu or looking for a new place to train, I couldn’t recommend this school more.
I recently made the switch to this gym and couldn't be happier with the decision. Everyone is super welcoming here. Whether you are a just getting into Jiu Jitsu or are a long time practitioner and competitor, this place can provide the proper level of training. The class instruction is very simple to follow and often focuses more on key details that improve your overall game. The floating mats make a huge difference in terms of injury prevention, especially when starting from a standing position. They are an excellent confidence builder during wrestling drills and sparing as the impacts on both yourself and your partner are drastically reduced. Every gym should have these! Lastly, I felt like it's definitely worth mentioning that Logos is very clean. Mats, floors, bathrooms, and the rest of the facility are spotless. They take pride in hygiene and it shows. I highly recommend coming to check it out or dropping in for a class or open ma
My friend keep telling me I needed to come try out this Bjj gym, and how great the instructors and atmosphere were. I have never grappled in my life but it was something that I eventually wanted to do because it looked like so much fun. I did my first Bjj class here at Logos. The instructors were super patient and gave me guidance on how to properly execute each maneuver. They would also come by and give me tips and guidance when needed. Also, everyone that I rolled with was super nice and also helped me out when needed. I run a whole alot of races at the moment but I will need to eventually figure out how to incorporate these Bjj classes in my running schedule, because they are fun and also give you a great workout because I have excellent endurance, stamina and good amount of strength and I was feeling tired towards the end of the class.
WORTH THE FREE CLASS My wife and I saw a sponsored ad on IG for a single free class and went just for fun (not having any knowledge or training) and left with basic knowledge of the sport, culture, and fundamental technique. We jumped right in with the class, learning exactly what the class was working on. Our instructor Norman was great at making the technique digestible for us. I should also mention the people we trained with were very helpful and supportive of us being in their class. Not sure how long they offer the free-classes, but would I would recommend this gym to anyone wanting to try something new and wanting to get out of their comfort zone. I’m looking into going back to “earn” myself some of their cool merch.
I always wanted to do some sort of martial art: my brother in law trains here and highly recommended it. I went to one class and never felt more welcomed by Norm, Nick and Mike. They got my a loaner GI and I trained with some of the kindest people, everyone matched my level and went easy on me knowing I was new. I signed up right after my first class I am about a few months into this and the instructors are some of the best ever. Mike runs an amazing academy super knowledgeable and kind. Everyone here no matter what belt they are always welcomes you and gives advice. The journey is not easy but this is rewarding and teaches you amazing self esteem and self discipline. Come by and train and you won’t regret it, they have world champions like Lovato come by and do seminars. Everyone will get to know you on a first name basis, I have not once regretted my decision once ever since I started. Thank you Logos and team!
Had my first class here today and it was an awesome experience. I was a little nervous walking in since I’m completely new to Jiu Jitsu, but everyone was super friendly and welcoming from the start. Norman took the time to explain things clearly, and the people I trained with were patient and helpful. Even though it was my first day, I already felt like I was learning a lot. The atmosphere was laid-back but focused, and you can tell the people here really care about helping each other get better. Definitely glad I showed up today. Looking forward to coming back and continuing the journey. Signed up on the spot. If you’re thinking about trying Jiu Jitsu, this place is a great spot to start.
