I started attending a couple months ago. I Have been consistently and thoroughly impressed and pleased with the classes, the instructors, the clientele, both novice and experts, that this gym attracts. The cleanliness, the positive inclusive energy from every person I have engaged with while there learning, makes it easy to keep going back. The instructors are patient and present, they correct and modify and provide very helpful hands on training in addition to verbal and visual instruction. . They make you feel welcome and acknowledge that everyone has to start somewhere. They encourage you to keep trying and returning to gain more skill, comfort and ability since Jui Jitsu can be a lifelong “gift”. I bring my 13 yo daughter with me, it is very important to me, that she has the ability to back up her sass with the ability to protect herself in any situation. It provides her with confidence and encourages situational awareness. She thor
I dropped in for an open mat at Colorado BJJ Stapleton over the past weekend while in town for work. The gym is clean, people are great, and amenities are convenient. I would definitely recommend professor Sean and the other instructors at the gym to anyone looking for good training in the area. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming to us, even though we had never met anyone from the gym before. Coming from the DFW area of Texas, the altitude was killer, but we managed to enjoy the training due to the laid-back, positive, and energetic atmosphere at the academy. Thank you for all the hospitality, guys!
Friendly, safe, and clean environment. Awesome instruction from Professors Sean and Teri along with helpful training partners. Extremely flexible schedule, which is a huge plus for those with busy lifestyles. Classes for beginners, kids, women, and for the more advanced Jiu Jitsu practitioners. Conducive setting for the everyday Joe or Jane as well as for those who want to compete. Great place to train for sport and self defense.
I love this Brazilian Jiu Jitsu School. The professors (Sean, Don, Terry, Peter, Greg) and coaches are amazing at teaching and making sure that everyone is safe while executing the techniques in practice and making everyone feel like they are part of their Jiu Jitsu Family. I was part of the team for almost 3 years and unfortunately had to leave the team due to getting a new career opportunity in another city. If you are live in the Denver area and want to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu check them out, you won't be disappointed.
Colorado Brazillian Jiu Jitsu Satori is a fantastic school! A friend told me to drop in for open mat one day and it was a really good choice. Great energy throughout the whole room! Everyone was very welcoming and friendly, I had some good hard rolls and got all kinds of great feedback from the coaches. I've been going back every week since! If you're looking for a good workout and a strong community to support you reach your goals, CBJJ is a good place for it!
When I contacted the gym I was told that I can get a free week trial so I came in for a Monday morning class. That morning I decided to sign up because I knew right away that it was a gym I wanted to call home. The gym has a welcoming environment and all the professors and coaches provide quality instruction. They offer morning, lunch-time, and evening classes which makes it easy to attend a class if you have a busy schedule. Without a doubt the best gym in Colorado. 10/10 recommend!
