This gym has it all! Kids BJJ, Adult BJJ, Kickboxing and fitness classes. You can come on your own or bring the whole family because there is something for everyone. It’s a facility that prides themselves on being clean and having plenty of room for everyone to enjoy class and not feel crowded. Kids class is at the same time as kickboxing/fitness so moms can get their workout in while their kids learn Jiu Jitsu. The kickboxing class is a mix of learning the technique while getting a great workout in. I recently started kickboxing and really appreciate how they took the time to help me with form/technique and how everyone in class made me feel welcomed. Definitely come in and try a free class!
All three of our children train here and love it. Our 12 year old son caught on as expected and competes once or even twice a month in tournaments and constantly places in the top 3 per weight/age. Our 7 year old son has improved so much this year in mobility, confidence and independence due to his training. Our 6 year old daughter is also doing good for her size. The professor and coaches are great with the children. There’s always a handful of coaches on the mat during classes to keep the children as safe as possible. The gym always has a coach at the tournaments for the kids even if it’s one or two kids registered. There are so many role models in this gym for the children and teenagers.
Our son has been training jiujitsu since he was 5 years old in Alpine, California. We recently moved to Castle Rock, Colorado where he joined and began training with Jared and the team at Carlson Gracie. He’s now 13 and was very nervous to start at a new gym. Everyone welcomed us into the jiujitsu family with open arms. Our son is very comfortable and enjoys training everyday. The coaches are very professional in helping our son be his best!!
Can’t say enough good things about Elite Martial Arts in Castle Rock! They have created an amazing family environment that caters to all ages (I am closing in on senior citizen status myself). I have trained in various martial arts for years at several different schools but this one stands above the rest. I was a total novice when it came to Jiu jitsu and Jared and his team made me feel very welcome and part of the family from the start. Wade has great patience when teaching fundamentals and every member is always willing to take time to teach or demonstrate a technique so you can grow your skill set. I highly recommend Elite for novices and advanced practitioners as you will be challenged but have fun at the same time!
My son just started taking classes a few months ago, and our experience so far has been nothing but positive. All teachers and staff are very welcoming, facilities are neatly kept, and I love the flexibility of a monthly 5 day/week option. Our son enjoys his classes and loves learning new moves. He says he wishes the classes were longer (so does Mom!). Would highly recommend them if you are looking for exceptional training without a overcommitting schedule. We are excited to be part of the Elite Martial Arts & Fitness Family ♥
Been awhile since I trained. Walked in. Talked to the owner, Jared. Told me what he had to offer. Very professional. Went to my first training last night. Everything he said it was going to be and more. All the people were more than helpful, helped with beginner training, made sure I was comfortable with a move before moving on, respectful and absolute beasts! If you decide on Carlson Gracie Jiu jitsu training, make it Carlson Gracie Team Castle Rock. You won’t be disappointed.
