My two daughters have trained and competed in Jiu Jitsu for the past 12 years. In those years, they greatly benefitted under the tutelage of Professor Larry. His investment in their training and competitions has been paramount to their success in multiple SJJIF, JJWL, and IBJJF podium placements. Among the several of their medal achievements is a coveted gold medal IBJJF World Title and a silver IBJJF PAN Championship title. Accomplishments that could not have been achieved without Professor Larry's skilled teaching. Professor Larry possesses a strong knowledge of technique and competition rules across the federations. He is thorough in explaining application, transition and variations in an array of jiu jitsu movements. Professor Larry is an excellent teacher. I highly recommend Roll Art Jiu Jitsu!
I don't practice jiu jitsu myself, but I've been watching my wife and daughter learn for several years now. I have had the opportunity to observe Professor Larry and Professor Sergio teach many times. My wife and daughter have spent many hours with Professor Sergio. He is as dedicated as any teacher I've seen to student performance and he brings his big heart to his teaching. In particular, Sergio does everything he can to make the mat welcoming, safe, and productive for female practioners. Professor Larry helped my daughter with her guard and the improvments were immediately noticable. Perhaps Larry's greatest accomplishment is manifested in his son, Daniel. Daniel is a highly successful competitor, and has been for many years. Daniel may well be on the journey to being one of the best in the world. He owes much of his success to Professor Larry, and as anyone with kids knows, there is no harder task than coaching your own child. I hig
I used to train with professor Larry when he was a purple belt at Honor Roll jiu jitsu Santa Clarita California. He was then and still is a very kind hearted man. He is very knowledgeable in the art and generous in sharing his insights. When he told me that he opened up a jiu-jitsu studio in Colorado I was very pleased. Whoever comes under his jiu-jitsu instruction can be certain that they are going to be learning from a really good man! Side note: I wish you all the best Professor Larry Deeder. Andrew
Such a great atmosphere and family friendly environment! Took my daughter to train here while we were on vacation for a week. The instructors were so welcoming and knowledgeable, that training at the gym was her favorite part of vacation. I can't recommend this gym enough for families that want to train jiu jitsu!
Great Gym and great people! Ive trained with professor Sergio in the past. He is very technical and a wonderful instructor; lots of attention to detail and great with the kids. He brings his fountain of experience and energy to the gym. I will say, I have trained at quite a few BJJ gyms over the years, and the environment here is exemplary. Go see it for yourself!
