Having trained all over the country, I say with certainty that you can't find a better place to learn BJJ or perfect your game that Renzo Gracie CO. Professor Avi takes extra time with each student to ensure they're grasping the material as he imparts his seemingly infinite expertise on them. It is also a fantastic family environment where adults can challenge themselves in a respectful manner and kids can develop into martial artists without undue fear of injury. Professor Avi's school strongly earns my highest recommendation and I can't say enough about it! Give it a try, you only have a lot to gain.
For those of you struggling to get into an exercise routine, taking jiujitsu provides the motivation that carries you through the times that maybe the scale isn’t reflecting the work you’re putting in (not to say that you won’t lose weight if you want to - you definitely will!). This is the prime school for this, not just for the skill and expertise of the coaches but also for the fact that it feels like you gain a new family. Come for your self defense and health, stay for the tribe of supportive and encouraging people who would have your back in a second if you ever needed it.
I have only been training at Renzo Gracie Jiu Jitsu for about a month, but already feel like I have grown by leaps and bounds under Professor Avi’s instruction! As a service member, combat techniques are a constant. Through instruction at this school I went from barely knowing anything to having numerous weapons in my arsenal to compete with others efficiently. I’m sure that as time goes on, this will only continue to grow. Amazing school with amazing instructors and lessons that build on themselves to really perfect the fundamentals.
The owners care about their members and teach their students lifelong lessons. At Renzo Gracie, you’re a person and apart of the family once you enter the gym. They have different classes based on age, skill level and competitiveness. They also have a ton of beginner level classes as well! I would send anyone interested in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to this gym immediately.
My daughter and I have been training at Renzo Gracie Colorado for almost 2 years now. In our time here we have not only gained valuable skills and experiences in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, we have gained overall confidence and more importantly, we've gained a second family. We couldn't feel more at home at this gym, everyone is friendly, helpful, and accepting. Thank you for providing an amazing gym with an exceptional atmosphere professor Avi.
