As a woman I was nervous to start jiu-jitsu but I’m glad I did. I’ve never felt more empowered and confident! The coaches are super knowledgeable and make sure everyone feels comfortable, no matter their skill level. The vibe here is really welcoming, and there’s a strong sense of community. I never felt out of place. What I love most is how safe and respectful the training environment is. Everyone is super supportive, and it’s clear that they actually care about helping you improve. Whether you’re here for self-defense, fitness, or just to try something new, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!
Alpha Legion BJJ is an incredible community first, and a top notch training gym second. Coach Rob and the entire team care deeply about each of their students and treat everyone with respect. I always feel safe coming here and know that every class is going to be an enjoyable, challenging, and rewarding time. Rob is an Army veteran and local small businessowner. Please consider this gym and come for a free trial. I was not sure about committing until after my second free class. I see families, kids and older alike, all having a blast here.
We love it here! My kids have a blast learning jiu-jitsu, and I am impressed with the life skills they bring home. Coach Rob is knowledgeable, patient, and professional. As a first responder, I appreciate the flexible class schedule for myself, as well. Ten out of ten, would recommend. You’ll find a great family here, and a perfect place to grow your jiu-jitsu.
Most fun I've had in years!! Hands-on and intimate! Gi and No Gi. Clean and, most importantly, safe. My advice is to take advantage of the smaller class size while you can. These guys are legit. My first class and we are doing leg attacks on gi day?! You know you are getting the best training. Everyone is welcoming and gracious. I will most definitely be back! Our child has gained confidence, respect, and real skills — and earning stripes for hard work and progress keeps them motivated and proud. The flexible class schedule makes it easy for our 5-year-old to attend regularly, and the positive, family-like environment is unmatched. Highly recommend!
Ive been fighting for years and have been looking for a gym to get my kids started. They were super scared going into it but after meeting the instructors here, they dove right into it. After the first session my kids asked to come everyday after. We’ve been coming for a month straight and the kiddos aren't slowing down at all. They've learned to more technique than i could have gotten them to retain ever. Totally worth getting the kiddos into and learning some life skills. Prices are also probably the beat in town from gear to actual lessons.
