Ekata Training Center is a fantastic facility that offers a wide range of training programs designed to help individuals improve their physical fitness and overall well-being. The center has a great reputation in the local community for providing high-quality training programs that are both effective and enjoyable. One of the things that I appreciate most about Ekata Training Center is the variety of training programs that they offer. From kickboxing and martial arts to yoga and strength training, there is truly something for everyone here. No matter what your fitness level or goals may be, you are sure to find a program that suits your needs at Ekata. In addition to the excellent training programs, the staff at Ekata Training Center is also top-notch. They are highly knowledgeable and experienced, and they go out of their way to ensure that each client receives personalized attention and guidance. Whether you are a seasoned athlete or
Ekata is a wonderful place for kids and the entire family to train, learn and grow. My son has been there for two years and I have been there for a year and my wife has attended classes there as well. It has an incredibly positive and supportive atmosphere which is promoted not just by the staff, but by the families that go there as well. They have a great after school program, a multitude of kids, teen and adult classes, including Jeet Kune Do, Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Muy Thai, Savate (with a competition team), Meditation, Yoga and Weapons classes. The staff there is amazing and always willing to help the kids, teens and adults learn. Sifu Ed is one of the nicest and easiest to get along with people I have ever met and is always wonderful with the parents and kids. We have never had an issue with any of the staff the entire time we have been there. There are a lot of safety measures and rules there to help keep the kids and adults safe - in t
I’ve been training at Ekata for about a year and a half now, and I can honestly say it’s been one of the most rewarding decisions I’ve ever made. I’ve wanted to do martial arts my whole life, and after searching for the right place, I finally found an environment that is full of high class instructors. What sets Ekata apart is emphasizing the mindful practices that are so often missing in other programs. It’s not just about getting stronger or learning to defend yourself, it’s about growing as a whole person. Whether you're training Bruce Lee's JKD, Muay Thai, Savate, or Jiu Jitsu, the instructors break down each technique to show its real-world practicality and application, giving you confidence that what you're learning is truly effective. With a state of the art studio, Sifu Ed has built a space that challenges you physically while also helping you stay grounded, focused, and mentally sharp through the art of meditation. The training
Ekata Martial Arts is an amazing school for both kids and adults! I took an adult Muay Thai class and absolutely loved it. The energy, the instruction, and the overall atmosphere were top notch. The coaches are super knowledgeable, supportive, and really make sure everyone is learning and progressing, no matter their experience level. It’s also a fantastic place for kids. The way they teach discipline, confidence, and respect while still keeping the classes fun is really impressive. You can tell they truly care about each student. If you’re interested in martial arts, whether for yourself or your kids, I highly recommend checking out Ekata. You won’t regret it!
A very special place in the heart of Santa Clarita. My sons ages 8, 9 & 13 have been training Jeet Kune Do martial arts here for about a year and a half and I have seen a tremendous change in their level of confidence and initiative as a whole. The classes reinforce what my husband and I try to instill in them at home...respect, focus, a sense of pride in everything they do, being active and overall being better versions of themselves in life. At Ekata, they train hard and give them tools to create a lifestyle that will carry on with them forever. I see families who train marital arts here and take their lives a step further by nourishing their bodies through the many guided fitness activities offered and through mindful meditation. We practice meditation at home and to see it as an integral part here is a blessing. Ekata is beyond the common gyms and training centers you see around. It really is a facility that focuses on centering you
Ekata Training Center is by far the nicest gym I ever went to. The facility has nice equipment but that's not the best part. Every instructor I worked with was outstanding in their own way. The last workout blew out my fitbit. ;) The workouts are functionally correct and the martial application is no BS. I have seen every fitness level and martial background work side by side to get better. After my last car accident I thought I was done with martial arts but within a few weeks of working out at Ekata I got the rehabilitation I needed and no move and feel almost as good as I did before the car wreck and a full year of no exercise at all. Please disregard some of the sad competitors attempts to discredit Ekata. Go for one class, any class, tour the facility, meet the people, then see if you don't feel the same way I do about Ekata.
