This is one of the best places to train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. If you don't know, BJJ is very difficult and can be hard to learn for a beginner, however, the coaches here explain and demonstrate everything needed so that you can get it down. The people here are also very kind. No egos, just people who are serious about getting better at BJJ which makes for a fun competitive environment. I highly recommend this place for anyone and everyone looking to try out BJJ.
If you want a gym that feels like home, where you are supported and pushed to be your best and are serious about learning your martial art I highly suggest coming HERE. I’ve had many options in the Covina area to choose from but the vibe and team behind this place cannot be found anywhere else. My gym mates have become family, and the gym always feels like my second home. Where I am safe and supported through training and outside the gym. You make life long friends here, are taught by passionate people and are guaranteed to leave with a smile on your face after each session. This place has helped me find my confidence, my inner warrior and has helped me shape my inner peace. If you’re unsure, please come by and take a trail class. You won’t regret it. 10th Planet Covina is the best martial arts gym in the area. The atmosphere is always very welcoming, the gym itself if kept clean and ran by great managers. The coaching is top notch, the way coach Kuwy breaks his classes down for every experience level allows everyone learn at their own skill level allowing them to develop faster. I would highly recommend signing up for a trial class to anybody at any age slightly interested.
10th Planet Covina is the best damn place to be training. The Jiu Jitsu taught here is levels above everywhere else I've been to. You'll learn faster and better here than anywhere else. It's a tight group and everyone is cool with each other. Coaches are top notch. Look no further. This is your next Jiu Jitsu gym.
10th Planet Covina is awesome! My son did Karate for the last 6 years and 10th Planet Covina had made the transition to JuJitsu and Muy Thai easy! All of the instructors are awesome. We initially came for a free trial and there was no pressure. The other kids were welcoming and helpful which is indicative of how they are trained. I highly recommend 10th Planet for your child.
Very clean and welcoming gym. Both the staff and members made the gym feel like one big family. Learned a lot of good basics in the beginner jiu jitsu and Muy Thai classes
