Our family has been part of Honor Roll BJJ for over three years, and the experience has been nothing short of incredible. From day one, Professor Bruno and his wife Isabella welcomed us with open arms. They are not only knowledgeable and skilled but also genuinely down-to-earth and caring people who make everyone feel at home. My daughter, Abigail, has grown tremendously under Professor Bruno’s mentorship. He has been a remarkable coach and role model, guiding her not just in Jiu-Jitsu but also in discipline, confidence, and perseverance. The level of attention and encouragement he provides to his students is unmatched. All the coaches and staff are friendly, professional, and create a positive environment where kids and adults alike can thrive. Thanks to the exceptional training and support at Honor Roll, Abigail has become a multiple-time gold medal champion, winning across all major Jiu-Jitsu organizations. Her success on the mats is
I had an incredible experience at Honor Roll Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Santa Clarita! From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with genuine hospitality and professionalism. The gym has a clean, well-organized space with a great vibe—perfect for both beginners and advanced practitioners. Professor Bruno Altunez, the owner and head instructor, is truly exceptional. His passion for jiu-jitsu is obvious in the way he teaches. He combines deep technical knowledge with a humble, encouraging approach that makes every student feel comfortable and motivated. Bruno takes time to break down techniques clearly, and he’s always available to answer questions or give feedback, no matter your skill level. The training partners at Honor Roll are equally impressive—friendly, respectful, and focused on learning. There’s a strong sense of community here, and it’s clear that Bruno has built a culture based on mutual respect, hard work, and constant improvem
I had quitted alcohol over two months ago and needed motivation and help with my anxiety. I decided to join honor roll Brazilian jiu-jitsu and it was the best decision I have made in a long time! I decided to challenge myself or test it out and took the 6-week one-time package challenge and have been loving it since day one and now I have signed up for the year membership! as a birthday gift to my self! All instructors I have come across are amazing professionals and have high-integrity just like Bruno. John, Jonathan, Danielle, Junior, Gustavo, and of course Bruno are wonderful black belt & advanced brown belt instructors. Highly recommend this dojo BJJ team. Truly, an HONOR to meet and come across team BRUNO ANTUNES! -jorge (Alex) posadas My journey has been slow but stable. I'm still attending twice a week or sometimes three times a week but I took off for 4 months due to family business and work. But I've been back for the last coup
I’ve had an amazing experience training at this gym. The instructors are knowledgeable, patient, and really take the time to break techniques down so everyone can understand. The environment is welcoming for all skill levels—whether you’re brand new to jiu jitsu or more advanced, you’ll find great training partners who push you while keeping it safe. The gym is clean, well-maintained, and has a strong sense of community. I’ve noticed real progress in both my skills and confidence since joining. Highly recommend to anyone looking to train jiu jitsu in a supportive, professional setting! Thank you Profesor Bruno and the Honor Roll team!!!!!
Professor Bruno Antunes and Honor Roll BJJ has become a huge part of my family's lives for many years as we all started our journey as white belts. My wife and I are now brown belts! Our son and daughter started first and then my wife and I joined after and we all couldn't be happier. The training is top notch and the exercise is the best you will ever experience as well as teaching you how to defend yourself and increasing confidence. On top of that, the environment there is very friendly. You go to train and exercise, but your not by yourself as your training along side your partners and friends and everyone helps each other to become better. We have also participated in many big and small tournaments and the travels turn into mini vacations. This is the lifestyle at Honor Roll and we love it!
I started training at Honor Roll two years ago, and without a doubt, it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Coming from a collegiate athletic and military background, I assumed I’d have an edge—but I was humbled in the very first class. The professors push you not just physically, but mentally. The environment is second to none: no egos, just a group of people genuinely committed to helping each other grow. I especially love that it’s family-oriented—I can bring my kids to train alongside me. My only regret is not starting sooner. If you want to be your best, you have to train with the best. And that’s Honor Roll.
