My kid's have been training here for a little over two months. We have always had good experience when training at the gym. We started out just trying the free one week trial and ended up liking it. My youngest trains in the small kids class. I like that they teach the kids in a way where they are learning but also having fun. Some of the drills the kids do seem like games but they help them with reflexes. There are days they play games where one child tries to push the other child out of an area. They are preparing the kids for the next class which includes grappling. My son is in the older kids class. I like how the coaches teach the kids consistently. The coaches will drill a move for multiple days. This allows the kids time to learn the move and fix any wrong movements or placement of their arms and legs. I recently enrolled my child in Coach Shaween's kids class at Sektor Jiu-Jitsu in Rowland Heights, and I couldn't be happier with the experience so far. Coach Shaween is fantastic with the kids, providing a fun and engaging learning environment that keeps them motivated and excited to come back each week. Our family has been training at Sektor in Rowland Heights for about a year now and we absolutely love it. My three kids and I train regularly and it has become a big part of our lives. The gym is clean, well run, and has a great atmosphere. The coaches are patient, knowledgeable, and truly care about the students, especially the kids. We have seen a huge difference in our kids confidence, discipline, and overall attitude since starting here. What really makes Sektor special is the people. Everyone is friendly, supportive, and easy to be around. It feels like a real community, not just a place to train. Our kids trained for the first six months and kept pushing me to try it. After my first class and realizing how great the workout was, I signed up too, and now we all train together. We are very grateful to be part of the Sektor family and highly recommend it to everyone.
really love this gym as well as the instructors and management! I grew up in the area and recently came down to SoCal to visit my parents, I was only going to be here for 6 days and Sektor let me train with the one week free trial. I went to a No Gi jiu jitsu class and also a Wrestling class. Both instructors were fantastic and I especially loved the Friday afternoon wrestling class taught by Shawheen! Everyone at the gym was so friendly and welcoming, and the facilities were very clean. Great training environment and a lot of good partners to pair up with. Apparently their headquarters is in Chino, I didn't get a chance to visit, but the Rowland Heights location was really cool and I had a really good/fun experience :) Would highly recommend training here if you're in town! They have a really big kids program too so if you're looking to send your kids somewhere this would be a great choice

I had a great experience at Sektor. I reached out to them a few weeks in advance to let them know I was going to be in town and I was interested in visiting their school. They responded immediately and let me know that I was more than welcomed. As the day was getting closer for my visit, I followed up with them and again they were prompt with their response and ensured me I was set to visit. They were very excited to have me check out a class. The people were extremely friendly. Professor Jesse was teaching the 9:00am beginners class on Tuesday and he was a great instructor. They even have cool Jiu Jitsu art on their walls and that was dope to see. If you’re in the area I highly recommend you come in for a class! Thank you once again, Sektor Jiu-Jitsu.
