I have always enjoyed martial arts, but after blowing my knees out in high school wrestling, I had a very hard time finding a martial art I could practice without re-injuring myself. I was referred to DM BJJ by a good friend who knew I was looking for a good place to train. I have now been training there for several months and I can't say enough good things about the place or the team. DM BJJ has high level instructors who make it easy to ask questions and always display a strong sense of respect for everyone who comes through the door. This high regard for respect is equally practiced by the students, which made it very easy for a first timer, like myself, to get the most out of my time on the mat. It doesn't matter if you are looking for a good workout, self defense training, or hardcore BJJ training- DM BJJ covers it all. It also doesn't matter what type of shape you're in. DM BJJ's training regiment can be adjusted to meet the needs
I've been training at DMBJJ for nearly two years and it made me fall in love with the sport of Jiu Jitsu. Professor Dimitrios has established an exceptional martial art school that welcomes everyone, whether you're a combat sports enthusiast or someone looking to improve fitness and learn self-defense. The coaches and instructors are always ready to assist with any needs on the mat. The classes are well-structured with thoughtfully designed and practical drills that are beneficial not only for Jiu Jitsu but also for real-life situations. The atmosphere of the academy is fantastic. Everyone brings a positive and welcoming energy. Overall, I am extremely pleased with my decision to join this academy and represent our team in competitions. I’ve been training at Dmbjj for close to 2 years now and I’d definitely accredit this academy for the passion I’ve gained for jiu jitsu over these past 2 years. Professor Dimitrios has done a great job fostering an environment that’s friendly to beginners/hobbyists and a great place for competitors to grow/build their jiu jitsu. I would definitely recommend training here regardless of if you’re just starting your jiu jitsu journey or you’re an experienced practitioner looking for a new academy!

My child has been going to DM bjj for a few months now, we signed him up so that he would learn some self defense and hoped he’d grow a little self confidence. In such a short amount of time he has not only learned self defense but we have seen him change in so many positive ways. He walks tall, and has self confidence that radiates. Confidence, discipline, respect, manners, and details are just a few things that these professors teach. The character that is built into these kids in this academy is by far worth more than 5 stars. Every single coach has their own part in teaching and building these kids from the inside out. THANK YOU professor DM & coaches.
