I spend a lot of time hiking, road cycling, or running alone, and through it all, I've always had a bit of fear regarding being attacked. I joined figuring I'd learn a few self defense techniques, but I've been able to get so much more from training here. I've joined a family, one that helps me get better on the mat and outside. I'm not saying I'm a killer now and I would send an attacker to the hospital- but I would have a chance to get away, a better chance at staying alive even. I've gained a family that I know I can count on to be there if I needed them, at any hour of the day or night. ZR La Verne is the place to be training, no doubt.
I've dropped in for a few classes here. Lots of classes available throughout the day, including weekends. Large mat, clean facility, showers on site, great location. His and hers locker/changing rooms. Prices are reasonable. The coaches provide solid instruction. Everyone is helpful and friendly. Great gym!
The BEST place to train. Kids, teens and adult classes. Professor Francisco and all the coaches are very professional, friendly, and above all else caring. They truly want you to succeed. They are a family there and always welcome everybody with open arms. Would. HIGHLY recommend over and over again.
Meet Francisco and his family. He is the head professor and owner of this amazing academy. If you're a practitioner or new to Jiu Jitsu stop in and look no further. This gym has perfect balance. It is not too strict or a free for all. It is right down the middle and a great place to train. I have been to many gyms throughout the world 🌎 and this gym is outstanding. Oooss...
Awesome place to train. Top notch instructors and a very friendly atmosphere. Students are very good training partners and made me feel welcomed. I can't wait to come back and train.
Zr la verne is a great place to train and get in shape. Professor Cisco is a active competitor and only teaches things that are effective. He also has a great kids class that seems really fun. I definitely recommend Zr La Verne. It also has 2 black belts.
