Independent Grappling is an outstanding BJJ gym that offers the perfect blend of a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere and a high-level, competitive training environment. The coaches provide excellent instruction, creating a great learning space for all skill levels, from beginners to experienced competitors. The gym is also very military friendly, fostering a strong sense of discipline, respect, and camaraderie. This jiu-jitsu school has been an amazing experience for my kids! The coaches are incredibly patient, skilled, and great with children. They not only teach solid technique but also instill discipline, confidence, and respect. My kids are always excited to come to class and have shown great improvement both on and off the mat. The environment is safe, supportive, and family-friendly. Highly recommend for any parents looking to get their kids involved in jiu-jitsu!
This gym has been an incredible experience for both my son and our family. At first, he had no interest in joining a jiu-jitsu program, but from day one, the coaches and staff made him feel welcomed and included. Three months later, he now proudly calls this place his “jiu-jitsu family.” That says a lot about the positive environment the owners, staff and coaches have created. Their dedication, support, and strong sense of community truly stand out. We are very grateful for everything they do—not just for our son, but for all the kids who are part of this program.
We love our jiu-jitsu school! 🥋 It’s so much fun to come to class and learn new moves. Our coaches are super nice and always help us get better. We’ve made a lot of friends here, and we feel stronger and more confident every day. We can’t wait to come back for the next class!
Recently moved over from a "bigger" gym to Independent Grappling. The environment and learning atmosphere is excellent. Their training is geared towards competition based technique, but they maintain an inviting and "open door" gym that's accommodating to all jiu jitsu practitioners.
What an amazing group of people!!! I was just passing through town on my way to CA, I found the place on google and I stoped by to see if I can join the class. They were most kind welcoming and nicest people. The class was outstanding and the students top level. El Paso you got a gold mine in your backyard
