I audited every kids BJJ program in the area before selecting Six Blades. It’s by far the best kids Brazilian Jiu Jitsu program I’ve ever seen. They definitely cracked the code in terms of teaching BJJ fundamentals to kids while making it as fun as possible. The class is never chaotic, and they have a formula that maintains class discipline while keeping the experience really fun and instructive. In just a few short months I’ve seen my child go from being a complete beginner to transitioning from move to move. The coaches are absolutely incredible and there’s always 4+ coaches per class. I couldn’t recommend them more, truly world class.
Six Blades Jiu Jitsu Lake Travis has been an amazing place for both me and my daughter. As an adult, I’ve found the training to be challenging, rewarding, and incredibly supportive. The coaches are knowledgeable, patient, and make sure every class is fun while still pushing you to improve. I’ve gained so much confidence and skill since I started, and the atmosphere at the dojo is welcoming to all levels. What’s even more special is seeing my daughter thrive in her classes. She looks forward to every session and is constantly learning both self-defense and valuable life skills, like discipline and focus. The instructors are fantastic with kids, and it’s clear they genuinely care about each student’s progress. If you're looking for a place to train, whether as an adult or for your child, I highly recommend Six Blades Jiu Jitsu. It’s a great community, and we’ve enjoyed every moment of our journey here.
I cannot say enough great things about Six Blades Jiu Jitsu! The coaches are phenomenal – they're not only incredibly professional, but their genuine passion for the sport and for teaching is evident in every class. They're amazing with kids, and I’ve seen such a transformation in my daughter. Not only has her skill in Jiu Jitsu improved, but her confidence has grown so much too. It’s clear that the coaches care deeply about each student's development, both on and off the mat. Six Blades Lake Travis is one of the best run jiu jitsu schools I’ve ever seen. As a black belt, training for 20 years and school owner myself- I can say with confidence the level of instruction and professionalism is top notch. The coaches are super friendly, respectful, safety conscious and run an amazing program. The kids program is world class and can’t recommend this school enough. If you’re a beginner, advanced, or a parent looking for a kids program in the area, this is the place! If you’re thinking about training just show up and the staff will take care of the rest.
Joining Six Blades Lake Travis changed my life.
