My son trains here and is a serious competitor in wrestling. He wanted to also do BJJ. We chose Renzo Gracie Austin because of their dedication to the youth BJJ club. There are multiple high level coaches on the mats at all times to assist our kids and help them grow. Within 2 months of training, my kid placed 3rd in the advanced division of ADCC & 1st in the intermediate decision of ADCC recently. We live in Kyle and battle traffic to be able to train here, & it is worth all the time and effort to get here because this is the best place for my kid. Best of all, they started a wrestling club here to accommodate our wrestling training as well. We now train both, wrestling and bjj here. I highly recommend this gym to anyone!
Coach Jae and Jason are truly top-notch jiu-jitsu instructors in Texas. Their instruction is exceptionally detailed, purposeful, and thoughtfully tailored to individual development. Each session is run with a clear structure and a deliberate focus on identifying and correcting specific technical and strategic weaknesses. Since beginning private sessions, my overall jiu-jitsu performance has improved noticeably. I have trained under numerous black belts over the years, and Coach Jae stands out as an exceptional instructor whose knowledge, precision, and teaching ability are among the best I have experienced. For anyone serious about long-term improvement, private lessons with Coach Jae are an outstanding investment.

The mat is enormous and there are many individual changing rooms. There is also ample room for hanging out of the mats. I’ve been training at Renzo Gracie Academy for over two years, and it’s hands-down the best gym I’ve ever been to! The instructors are world-class, bringing incredible expertise and passion to every class. The atmosphere is welcoming, and I’ve made tons of great friends here. The facility is awesome with plenty of mat space and parking, making it super convenient. I absolutely love training here and highly recommend it to anyone looking to start or continue their jiu-jitsu journey!
