This gym is fantastic! They have a large training area, not only for BJJ but also strength and conditioning. The Instructor, who leads BJJ, is a very competent Black Belt from Brazil. They offer both kids and adult programs. I have attended a number of tournaments at the gym and have seen the tough competitors who train there. We would recommend this gym as a Jiu Jitsu Federation.
My child has been training in BJJ at Peak Performance Soul Fighters for the last 2 years. We have seen her level of competition and confidence increase over this time. She has competed and has received many medals in a variety of tournaments with the support of her instructor. I would recommend this gym and the instructor for anybody looking to start bjj or improve their skill level. I also like the fact that her confidence level has improved and I feel more at ease knowing she could defend herself if ever she needs to.
My two sons have been enrolled in the Peak Performance after school and Soul Fighters BJJ program since August 2017. We have have seen a great improvement in their behavior and performance both at home and school. The values we instill at home of manners, self respect, respect for others, self confidence, self improvement, and accountability are all reinforced at Peak as well as all of their various athletic programs. In fact, I have enjoyed their involvement in the Soul Fighters BJJ program so much that I have recently enrolled as well. The connection I will build with my sons through BJJ will be a fundamental block upon which our relationship stands and evolves as they age and grow into their individual personalities. I couldn't be happier with the prospect of such a bright future.
I am a student under Professor Bruno, and he is an AMAZING instructor. He gives great advice, is a great coach, and genuinely loves the sport. He has taught me so much and has helped me earn many silver and bronze metals. Overall, Peak Performance has an amazingly comforting environment and is like my second family. I highly recommend Jiu Jitsu OR Tang Soo Do at Peak Performance, because not only have they both raised my confidence, they have also encouraged my self discipline and raised my self control.
Great place....great instructor. My 6 year old son has been working under Professor Bruno over the past year in BJJ. We have seen great progress in his skills, abilities and attention over this period. We all have enjoyed the experience so much with Professor Bruno, that my wife and I started taking classes with him as well. If you are thinking, or have ever thought about taking BJJ, Professor Bruno is an outstanding instructor......very accommodating with your time, physical condition and skills.
I had trained at another Soul Fighters gym before trying BJJ at Peak Performance and I love the organization. Professor Bruno pushes his students and cares deeply about their progress. As somewhat of a beginner, I felt at home trying out one of his classes. The pace would appeal to all levels, challenging lower tanks to step up and refining the skills of more advanced students. I plan to drop in on another class whenever I'm in the Austin area again.
