My Daughter has been training with FreeWorld Jiu Jitsu a little over 2 years now. I am on and off training on the mats every now and then and now working on getting my 16yo Son to start training as well... Nothing but, praises in this gym. Professors Jordan & Tracey are very approachable. Very knowledgeable. Including all the coaches. The facility is very clean and initially this was one of the reasons why we chose this gym. Now FreeWorld is like our extended family, it became like our small community. But beware, no one here will "baby" you. You need to put in the work, if you are not familiar with basic combat sport, I suggest you do your homework first and get some conditioning. This applies to all age bracket. None the less, I will not go anywhere else to train and learn BJJ.
Free World Jiu Jitsu has been nothing but the best for our family’s experience. Our three sons (ages 11, 9, and 6) have gained technique, discipline and character from Professors Jordan and Tracey. The family environment enhances competition amongst teammates and unity when enjoying life or competing outside of the gym. People always ask where our boys train when we post videos because the high level of training is apparent during competitions. We’ve even had some of their competitors come join the family. As soon as our schedules allow, the wife and I will also start training.
Moving to a new area is always a challenge, but FreeWorld quickly became more than just a gym for us—the people here became our closest friends. From the moment we joined, the community made us feel at home. As someone who isn't the biggest guy on the mats, I was initially a bit intimidated, but my partners were incredibly understanding. Jordan and Tracey are incredibly talented and skilled instructors who make learning the sport very manageable. Their technical depth is matched only by their ability to break down complex movements for students of all sizes and skill levels. The kids' program they’ve built is nothing short of world-class. The level of talent they are developing in these young athletes is impressive; they can easily contend with any program in the region, and likely even on a national level. With the gym expansion currently underway, the facilities and mat space are about to get even better. If you’re looking for high-le
I started Jiu Jitsu about 1.5 years ago to deal with PTSD, mental health and fitness all together. Initially I thought it was the working out and weight loss that was going to be the highlight of JJ for me. Boy was I wrong. The highlight has been from the friendships and growth on and off the map. Training under Professors Jordan and Tracey I don't just learn on the mat but continue to learn after rolling daily. This has not only been amazing for my mobility and fitness but it has def helped with my PTSD. SInce then my youngest has begun to train with me and loves her Jits. If you're looking to change your life, your health, your mind and soul.... or just looking for something that will keep your kids active; Freeworld is HOME.
I've trained at many different schools due to moving around a lot, and am so glad I found Free World when I moved to Pflugerville a couple years ago. It's the kind of place where everyone greets each other and makes you feel welcome, I really enjoy my training partners. And the instruction is top notch: Jordan and Tracey take time to answer questions after class and help you work on your game. They are invested in the growth of their students and it shows. And both regularly compete and are killers on the mats. Finding this place down the street has had a hugely positive impact on my life, I recommend it.
By far one of the best Brazilian Jiujitsu gyms in Texas! Professor Jordan and Tracey are world-class instructors and do an amazing job of creating this family-friendly environment! If you’re looking for a new place to train you will not be disappointed!
