New to jiu-jitsu, I was hesitant to start due to a past cervical spine surgery and a busy family schedule. After meeting Jim at ATLAS Jiu Jitsu, he immediately put my concerns at ease with his knowledge and professionalism. The team atmosphere is incredible—it truly feels like family. They offer kids’ classes, Gi and No-Gi training, classes five days a week, and open mat on Saturdays. If you’re looking to start jiu-jitsu or join a great team, I highly recommend ATLAS Jiu Jitsu Buda Texas🤙🏻
My kids and I both train at Atlas Jiu Jitsu. Coach Yeti is very knowledgeable and really attentive during the training. My kids and I really love training at Atlas. Gym has large mat space and very clean. Training partners are very kind and respectful. We are really happy to call Atlas our home Gym. I recommend Atlas Jiu Jitsu to everybody and anybody who wants to train quality Jiu Jitsu.
We absolutely love Atlas Jiu Jitsu. My 4-year-old son trains here, and the level of discipline, structure, and intentional coaching is incredible. This isn’t a place where kids are just handed stripes to feel good — they have to earn them. And I respect that deeply. The coaches hold the kids to a high standard while still being patient, encouraging, and age-appropriate. They focus on real skill development, listening, respect, and effort. When a child receives a stripe here, it actually means something — it represents growth, consistency, and hard work. As a parent, I appreciate that they are building more than just jiu jitsu skills. They are building character, confidence, and resilience. My son is learning accountability and discipline at four years old — that’s powerful. If you’re looking for a gym that truly develops kids rather than just promoting them, Atlas Jiu Jitsu is the place. Highly recommend.
Fantastic place to train! I was a bit nervous starting jiu-jitsu, but the coach made everything feel approachable and easy to follow. Jim is highly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely supportive, and the gym has a positive, ego-free atmosphere. Whether you’re brand new or already experienced, you’ll feel welcomed right away — and if you’re looking to push yourself toward a more competitive edge, Jim is the real deal. He knows exactly how to challenge you in a safe, encouraging way. Highly recommend to anyone curious about jiu-jitsu!
