I had an absolutely amazing time training at Aces Jiu Jitsu Club! From the very first day, I felt welcomed and part of a community. All of the coaches, including Coach Ty and Professor Mikal, were not only skilled but also genuinely invested in helping each student grow. They created a friendly yet challenging environment that pushed me to become better every single class. One thing that stood out to me was the support I received when I needed financial assistance. I was going through a rough time and had trouble paying for my classes, but they kindly provided a temporary freeze so I wouldn’t have to worry about losing my spot or missing out on training. It’s rare to find a place that truly cares about its students’ well-being both on and off the mats. Sadly, I’ll be leaving town soon, so I won’t be able to continue training here. But I’ll always look back fondly on all the memories I made and the skills I learned. Aces Jiu Jitsu Club i
I met the Aces Jiu Jitsu coaches at the Heroes Night Out BBQ, and by just talking to them, I knew Aces was a good place to train. As a veteran with injuries, I find it difficult to find a good place to train. Just with one class, I noticed that Aces was the place for me, and the coaches really take care of the people who train there. I had my first class with coach Ty, and everything was explained from the start, I even got to hear the story of how Aces started. Instructors are friendly and approachable. Environment feels safe, and you feel welcome by everybody training there. They have a variety of class times to help you find a time that works for you.
Don't gamble on your training and self-defense. Go "All-In" at Aces Jiu-Jitsu Club! It's where you need to be if you're looking for a safe and healthy training environment that is family and brotherhood focused. This is where you will level up and take your ground game to new heights. Coach Mikal is extremely knowledgeable and personable, makes you feel like family. This is also my recommendation for ANYBODY who is active duty (All branches of military service), or retired/veteran status and the family members of military service members as well. This is the community for you. The gym is spacious and has a great atmosphere. 10/10 I highly recommend 🫡🤙🏽⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I had an absolutely amazing time at Aces Jiu Jitsu Club today! From the moment I walked in, the energy was welcoming and motivating. The instructors were not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also super encouraging and attentive—making sure everyone felt supported, no matter their skill level. The class was well-structured, with a great balance of technique, drilling, and live rolling. You can tell this place is built on passion, respect, and a strong sense of community. I left feeling stronger, more confident, and already excited to come back. Highly recommend Aces to anyone looking to level up their Jiu Jitsu in a positive, high-level environment!
Wonderful experience with this club. Aces Pflugerville has a welcoming culture and is full of people who are genuinely passionate and knowledgeable. My 9 year old son has been training BJJ at this location for a full year now with Professor Ty, who is a master of his craft and a class act. The emphasis on discipline and respect he instilled through genuine care and guidance of his youth students is something that was difficult for me to find, my son absolutely blossomed in his class and under his guidance. The rest of the staff and members are a complete joy to be around. Everyone is truly just happy. The culture is rare and just plain good. Their competitive track record speaks for itself in terms of their ability to teach. I'm truly happy we found this amazing group.
This place is amazing. The instructors are very skilled and know how to teach properly with hands on training. They are good at seeing people's strengths and weaknesses and helping everyone, regardless of class size. They have classes for all ages, and their pricing is great. You will find comparable pricing elsewhere, but not for this world class training. Update: Aces continues to exceed expectations. Whether you are looking for a fun workout, a solid self defense, or competitive opportunity, this is the place for you. Become an Ace today!
