Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Goodlettsville reviews

Rated 4.9/5 across 29 Google reviews.

We've been visiting and researching a few martial arts and jiujitsu options in the Hendersonville/Goodlettsvile area. David and this location provided the best experience. David's instruction in the bullyproof and kids program was enthusiastic and authentic. Not only that, it's a very inclusive environment for everyone. It felt like a community. All the other parents were very friendly and welcoming, something I don't often experience in Hendersonville 😒. Gracie in Goodlettsvile is the place for our family.
David is one of the most engaging instructors I have ever had the pleasure to train with. His attention to detail, his positive attitude, and his desire to make sure everyone who's on the mat leaves with a smile is what makes him such a top-notch instructor of Brazilian jiu-jitsu. His ability to keep young students engaged and interested in classes is also a real treat to observe. You can't go wrong training with David.
I was visiting family in the Nashville area and stopped in for a couple classes. David was awesome! It was very clear that David not only has the technical knowledge but also the understanding of how to teach jiu jitsu to people of all ages, skills and abilities. I was able to observe a Bullyproof class before our class started and David brings such a great energy and creates a fun environment for the kids as well. Thanks so much!
I will always recommend Gracie Jiu-jitsu of Goodlettsville to anyone that will listen. Since starting my journey with them in January, my confidence has come back. When I first came I was shy and timid and was really unsure if i belonged. But Katie and David really took me under their wing and made me feel so welcome. Coming to a women’s empowered intro class changed my life and was the best decision. I have learned so much and will continue to learn much more! ❤️❤️❤️
David Jackson is a great instructor. Gracie Jiu Jitsu Goodlettsville is a wonderful place for kids to learn how to protect themselves, build confidence and be healthy. It is also a great school as an adult to learn Jiu Jitsu.
David is an incredible instructor. Always gives constructive feedback in a way that makes you want to keep training. He creates a safe environment where you can go to learn without worrying about getting injured or feeling like you don’t belong. Whether he is teaching adults or kids, he is engaged, smiling, helpful, welcoming, and all around someone you will be glad is instructing.
