I can’t say enough good things about Profectus Jiu Jitsu! My son has been attending for two years now, and it all started with Professor Logan, who runs the kids' class. He has created a fun, competitive, and, most importantly, safe environment for the kids. As a result, my son has not only fallen in love with the principles of Jiu Jitsu but also the welcoming Profectus community. Witnessing my son improve his ability to think under pressure and stay calm during tournaments has been incredible. He’s learned how to apply the principles required to excel in his matches, and it’s heartening to see his growth in both skill and confidence. And through training it’s given me things that takes some people a whole lifetime to find. This place has given me opportunity, friendships, purpose, and family. The coaches at this gym are motivated to teach and are always excited for student potential. They are accountable, honest, and fair. Everyday here is something new and through that I learn new skills. It doesn’t matter your size your background, or where you came from jiu jitsu is for everyone. I’ve been training at Profectus for 6 months now, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. Having come from another gym in the area where I had a less-than-ideal experience, Profectus has been a breath of fresh air. The instructors, Professor Travis and Coach Logan, are incredibly knowledgeable and supportive, creating a welcoming environment for practitioners of all skill levels. My wife and two sons (10 and 14) also train here, and we all appreciate how Profectus fosters a family-friendly atmosphere. The community is fantastic—everyone is friendly, encouraging, and always willing to help each other improve. Whether you’re a seasoned grappler or a complete beginner, Profectus is the perfect place to learn and grow in jiu-jitsu. Highly recommend!
This is an excellent place to learn Jiu Jitsu with a great family environment. The kids program has an amazing blend of great technique, discipline and fun. It is refreshing to see a group of kids learning in a space where they are all given attention and the opportunity to learn while being encouraged but not pressured. Adults and Children can feel comfortable to come in to Profectus to try Jiu Jitsu as a fun hobby or they can train to become a competitor. All of the professors are dedicated to helping students understand the details of the techniques they are learning. I’m really happy my family joined this academy.
I Highly recommend joining Profectus jiu-jitsu Hendersonville’s Gym!! Not only is it beneficial for your mind and body but the Coaches are amazing. Coach Logan is so great with the kids and really takes time to work with their individual strengths and struggles. For the Adults Professor Travis truly cares for all his students helps guide them to strive with high quality techniques that can be used with all belt ranks and takes time to listen to your concerns, walks you thru how to correct to improve your performance and makes it a great environment for everyone. This also is such an excellent and safe place for women to train. I train here along with my husband and our two young boys. We are so happy we found a place that fits all our individual jujitsu’s journeys needs. Thank you Travis and Logan For making your gym feel like home.
We love this place! My wife had found Profectus based on a review from a local Facebook group. Our 6-year-old started in July and really came to enjoy his classes and is always pumped when he gets to go to class. Professor Travis & Logan along with the rest of the coaches have taken their time with the kids and take pride in their development. Seeing the impact on him I went ahead and started taking classes which have been extremely beneficial for me. It’s a fantastic workout, a positive environment and a class schedule that allows me plenty of options to make classes with my hectic work schedule.
