6ONE5 Carlson Gracie Hendersonville offers a family-friendly atmosphere with high-level professional instruction from beginner to advanced levels. The staff is helpful, and down to earth, and they care about the welfare of their students, maintaining a clean and well-organized facility. Professor Moses is a world-class instructor with a passion for teaching, I can’t say enough good things about this gentleman. While instruction is done in a group setting, there is an additional element of individual guidance appropriate to each student’s performance level. I need to emphasize that all are welcome here, no matter the size, age, or previous athletic ability, you’ll be surrounded by people who want to help you get better. If you’re looking to get fit and only see Jiu-Jitsu as a ‘combat sport’ I encourage you to try it out and experience its wide range of benefits. 6one5 Carlson Gracie is my first experience with practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) & I have been blown away with how much FUN it continues to be!Everyone there is beyond welcoming and the hospitality is top-notch. 6one5 offers a variety of classes and times that help with anyone’s busy schedule. The academy even offers a free trial week with a loaner GI- so you literally have nothing to lose! If your new to town or new to the sport or even just looking to add some diversity to your workout routine- I would most definitely put 6one5 on your radar ASAP!
As someone who has trained at other academies years ago and came back from a long layoff, 6one5 Carlson Gracie Jiu-Jitsu is second to none in instruction. The atmosphere is convenient, inviting, and sanitary. Professor Moses has very high standards and shows it with his enthusiasm for the art, attention to detail, and investment in every student's feeling welcome and their track to success. An excellent experience whether you are an aspiring competitor or a first-time student with little to no sport experience.
Great gym. The coach is extremely knowledgeable and one the most technically solid Jiu-jitsu instructors i’ve trained with. His competition preparation ( technique and conditioning ) is very effective. Strongly recommend for anyone serious about improving.
I’ve learned so much at this school in a very short amount of time. Professor Moses cares so much about his students and getting them invested in the art of Jiu Jitsu that it’s very hard not to come back after your first class. The environment created by the students who attend here is second to none. All are very welcoming of new students and work their hardest to make them feel comfortable and help them learn.
I have been training here for 10 months now. The instruction is world class, the facility is clean and the community is so inviting. I feel healthier, stronger and more confident than ever. If you’re looking for that “legit” BJJ in Sumner or even Davidson county, this is the place.
