My 7 year old daughter attends class in the Penn Hills location. The martial arts style is designed around self defense. My daughter absolutely loves this class. It is fantastic to finally find a program that combines exercise, self discipline, and learning how to defend yourself all into one. The head instructor Mr. C is amazing with the kids. He is very patient with the children and knows how to keep their interest. New parents get to sit and watch the first class and it is a shame about the pandemic because I wish I could watch every class. Mr. C teaches them self disciple and he does a really great job creating mutual respect with the class. My daughter doesn't yell yes sir in class because she was told to, but because she wants to. One of the last activities they did in her first class and I assume in every class is run an obstacle course. A simple roll onto a pad, crawl under a tunnel, either jump or duck an incoming pool noodle,
When my daughter showed an interest in taking karate, I started looking around for different classes and sending out emails requesting further information. For the most part I received back cookie cutter answers and they all wanted us to come in first. Not the case the Ninjability, not only did I almost immediately receive detailed information pertaining to the classes via email but also links to you tube videos explaining what they do and how the class works as well as a direct phone call from the owner Paul within a few hours in which we discussed everything and he answered all questions. Being new to the class I was able to observe my daughters first session. I could tell within 5 mins of class starting that she was hooked and this would be something we were in for the long haul. Paul does a fantastic job of engaging the kids and keeps them moving, they are learning the principles associated with martial arts but in a fun and energet
I started out asking a ton of questions, they respond so quick and answered every thing I asked. We signed up for the free trial, which my son loved. during the trial period Mr. C kept open communication with us so that we knew what to expect and what was coming next. the instructors are amazing with the kids, they are patient and still observant and seem to make time for every child in the class so nobody gets left behind. They play a small game at the end of every class and the kids seem to absolutely love it. I can’t recommend them enough!
Our daughter had been talking about learning karate for quite some time now. I decided to start doing some research on some programs near us and stumbled upon Ninjability Pittsburgh. She has now had three classes, and couldn’t be happier. We are enjoying watching her learn at her classes and practice at home. Paul, her instructor, has been so kind and welcoming. It is a joy watching him with the kids, he is so patient. We could not have asked for a better program!
We put our girls in these classes a few weeks ago, and they absolutely love it! The instructor is very informative, easy to work with and great with the kids. Not only are they learning self defense but they also teach kids about proper discipline and help with being responsible. I highly recommend this studio.
We absolutely love it! My nephew wanted to do a double class and start full time right away. I love how the teacher is able to engage the kids and teach techniques, self defense, and respect through games, obstacle courses and practice with classmates. We love it here and definitely recommend it to anyone interested.
