North Hills ATA is truly an outstanding taekwondo school. The instructors here are phenomenal—not only are they highly skilled and decorated martial artists, but they genuinely care about their students. The environment feels like a family, and the sense of community they’ve built is second to none. The kids have so much fun while learning, and the school has become an integral part of the North Hills area. Their generosity shines through in the free Halloween and Christmas events they host for local children. And they offer fantastic after-school and summer camp programs through EmpowerKids! What really sets North Hills ATA apart is the balance they strike between fun and serious martial arts training. The instructors teach students more than just self-defense—they instill important life skills like dedication, goal-setting, fitness, discipline, and confidence. They create an environment where every student, regardless of age, can thri
My daughter started taekwondo classes here in November of 2022 on the trial and VERY QUICKLY knew that she wanted this to be her "thing". In those 2 years she has learned how to protect herself, made amazing friends, learned to accept constructive criticism, is the most disciplined she's ever been and has accomplished achieving her 1st Degree Black Belt. Shortly after joining she joined the Leadership program so she could compete at a champion level and has THRIVED! She has placed at MANY tournaments and learned SO MUCH not only about taekwondo but about herself and who she really is. The instructors here are phenomenal. Master Wilson and Ms. Metwalli are extremely kind, patient and helpful instructors. They have helped my daughter gain so much confidence in herself. One of my daughters goals is to become an ATA instructor. We are so thankful to have found a sport that she adores and really works hard at. Thank you for all you do!
North Hills ATA Martial Arts is outstanding. My niece has been taking Taekwondo classes there for almost a year. The staff is excellent. They teach their students much more than self-defense. The kids also learn a lot about self-confidence, self-esteem, fitness, respect, discipline, and about the importance of being goal oriented. On top of all that the kids have a lot of fun! My niece is pretty shy. I tried to get her involved in a few other extracurricular programs before she started here. Each time she was too shy to participate. She loved North Hills ATA instantly. NHATA also offers a summer camp. My niece absolutely loved it. We couldn't recommend this place more. Excellent people, excellent teachers, excellent environment, and the new location is fantastic. 5 out of 5 Stars.
So happy we found a martial arts academy that will fit the needs for our daughters reignited desire to continue her martial arts training. She is back to being excited to go to Taekwondo and continue her 3rd degree black belt journey. Master Wilson and his staff were welcoming, made us feel comfortable in our new academy like we are a part of the NHATA family. The staff are super helpful and work with each and every student in a positive way to encourage them to be the best that they can be and praising the big and small accomplishments. Thank you!!!
Great place! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Taekwondo Classes! My son absolutely loves his Taekwondo classes at ATA Martial Arts in North Hills! The instructors are fantastic—patient, skilled, and truly dedicated to helping each student grow in both technique and confidence. The classes are well-structured, engaging, and a great balance of discipline and fun. I also like their summer camp for kids!
Started my son late to karate. He received the first month as a Christmas present from an Uncle and Aunt. So glad he did. They researched our area for the best ATA. They found it. One of the reasons I wanted him in karate was the confidence issue. Master Steiger listened to my concerns and I feel my son has made great improvement in this area. Also the coordination, which has improved. But one of the biggest areas of concern was the slide, be it ever so slightly at the time, away from respect. It has increased ten fold. Could not ask for anything more professional than the way the Steiger ATA in West View is run. Lots of activities for the kids, all the time. Summer camp, my son loves it. To sum up Highly recommend it.
