Are you ready to fight?? You will love this place!! Coach John is the best coach in the world! He is turning a weak dentist in to a fighter. How he teaches MMA striking is so unique that you become fearless. I had many different coaches over three years until I found the best one. Coach John is very patient, so he would try everything to help you understand the concept of different striking method. I'm not an athletic person at all and I feel much more comfortable doing the sports now. The gym also offers strengthening and conditioning (by coach Mike) and Juijitsu (by coach Brett) classes. If you have a very stressful job like me, I'd totally recommand this camp in lieu of happy hours at the end of your day.
This is one of the best MMA gyms on Earth for everyone from high level prizefighters to regular people looking to get in shape and be surrounded by a positive community. I have trained out of many of the top gyms of the world and the coaching and culture at Marquez MMA/Daniel Gracie Philly is something truly special. Every person is treated as valuable and the community is incredibly tight-nit. Coach John and Daniel are two incredibly special people.
If I could give 1 million stars to this place I would. If I could give an infinity level of stars to this place, I would. Coach John is the greatest coach ever. This gym puts all other gyms in the area to shame. If you want to be the best you gotta train with the best under the best coach. Stop wasting your time next martial arts gyms and come here. Marquez MMA is the real deal.
My coach, Aakif from Crescent MMA, suggested I check out Marquez MMA while I’m in Philadelphia. I came all the way from Harrisburg, PA, and I’ll only be here for seven days, but it’s been a great experience so far. The coaches are highly skilled, and the atmosphere is super welcoming. I’m really glad I got the chance to train here and see what makes this gym stand out.
