I have been training at this jiu jitsu school for over a year now, and I can honestly say that it is the best decision I ever made. Not only have I learned a lot of effective techniques and strategies that work in real-life situations, but I have also made some great friends along the way. The instructors are very knowledgeable and experienced, and they always explain the concepts and principles behind every move. They also keep up with the latest trends and innovations in the sport, and they prepare their students for competitions at the highest level. Whether you want to become a champion or just have fun and stay fit, this is the place for you. The school is very clean and spacious, with plenty of mats and equipment for everyone. I originally met nick and Danny on a jiu-jitsu retreat in Puerto Rico. On the first day of the workshop I recognized their attention to detail and how they look at jiu-jitsu as almost like a math equation with focusing on techniques and high percentage movements and positions was on a whole different level. I found out their school was only an hour from house as soon as we came back I was egar to travel down there and aquire even more knowledge. I'm a black belt myself and they've helped elevate my game tremendously. If you're even remotely in this area and wish to elevate your game or you're starting from scratch and want to learn the beautiful art of jiu-jitsu at a rapid pace, check out their state of the art new facility. There's not many jiu-jitsu places that have their world class knowledge and accolades coupled with such a friendly environment.
This place rocks! Seriously. I started a little over four months ago and in that short time, not only have I learned a whole lot, the instructors here have really lit a fire under me. I honestly can’t wait to go to class every time. Whenever I have enough time in my schedule, I am sure to be there every chance I get. The instructors explore every technical aspect of BJJ while making it easy to understand. They’re super supportive too. They are teaching some really high-level stuff. While that means there are some very high-level people training here, they absolutely make space for those of us just starting out. All the higher belt people I’ve sparred with have had great attitudes and are willing to teach. No overblown egos here. The facility is amazing too! If you're looking for a great place for your kids, I highly recommend Movement Art Jiu-Jitsu. The new space is fantastic and well thought-out, and the coaches, Nick and Danny, are the best with the kids and great role models. They teach not only jiu-jitsu but also life skills and always treat the kids with respect. The kid program is perfect for both beginners and advanced-level students. My kids are enjoying this program a lot. Overall, it's a top-notch gym that I recommend to anyone who wants to boost their kids' confidence, self-esteem, and critical thinking skills while also allowing them to make new friends.
Nothing but great vibes and high level jiu jitsu. Danny and Nick are both world class competitors and excellent instructors that have changed the way I approach learning which has changed my perspective in all aspects of my life. The gym is filled with great people that all push each other to be better at the sport and to be better in life which is why the team is so successful. From the kids class to adults class, everyone is getting some of the best instructors in the sport right now. Highly recommend Movement Art, something truly special happening here.
