My child has been attending the Jiujitsu kids class for several months now, and we've seen incredible growth! The instructors are knowledgeable, patient, and create a supportive environment that fosters teamwork, discipline, and self-confidence. Emphasis on respect, self-control, and perseverance has positively impacted my child. Classes are energetic, interactive, and keep kids motivated. Instructors prioritize safety, ensuring a secure learning environment. Friendly atmosphere encourages camaraderie among students. This Jiujitsu kids class is an excellent investment for your child's physical and emotional well-being. We're grateful to be part of this class. Would highly recommend this program to anyone looking for a well-rounded martial arts experience for their child!
Everyone here is so welcoming and supportive. I’ve been going to ojjl for few weeks now and they’ve all been super encouraging and helpful. Great energy and vibes with great coaches/trainers who communicate clearly and are patient while pushing you to do your best. I have learned so much already and can’t wait to continue training. They also offer kids classes and although I don’t have a child that takes the classes, I do come in as they’re leaving and the coaches are so kind to the kids and everyone leaves with a smile on their face. Overall, 10/10 whether you’re new to jiu jitsu or looking for a new gym this is where the vibes are. Every Friday at 6:45pm they host an open mat session, which is a great time for those who want to test out a new gym and meet the coaches and crew, come check it out!!:)
An absolute amazing experience as beginner in jiu jitsu. The most welcoming environment to train and learn a new skill. Coach Adam’s approach to training and teaching is amazing. Incorporating games into class to teach skills and moves that all tie into each other is the best. I’m always excited to go in and learn more. The environment coach Dan & Adam have created is amazing. Being able to learn a new skill along side beginners and the more advanced is great. Everyone is so welcoming and helpful and we are all able to train and get better together. Could not recommend Oregon Jiu Jitsu Lab enough!!
I’ve had the pleasure of training at Oregon Jiu Jitsu Lab for a few weeks now, and one of the standout aspects of this gym is its inclusivity. It welcomes people of all ages, genders, fitness levels, and backgrounds. From the moment I stepped in, I felt a warm and welcoming atmosphere, free of judgment. The instructors are not only highly skilled but also deeply committed to creating a supportive learning environment. They make sure that every student feels comfortable, regardless of their experience level. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced practitioner, they provide individualized attention and are always available to answer questions or offer feedback. This fosters an inclusive atmosphere where you don’t feel out of place or left behind, even when you’re just starting. Another aspect I truly appreciate is the diverse group of individuals who train here. The gym is a melting pot of practitioners from various backgrou
I wish all teenage girls would give Jiu Jitsu a try. It's a great way to build confidence. My two daughters have joined three other dojos over the years and we've liked all of them. Each dojo has its own strength and character. But my girls especially like Oregon Jiu Jitsu Lab as it's like joining a community. All the members come from different walks of life and are at different age; but during the time they come together at the lab it feels like being part of a big family. Everyone is friendly and really vested in teaching and learning from each other. As a parent, I really like the TV set up where I can watch the training from downstairs of the dojo or even at home. Thank you, Adam and Dan, for creating a wonderful community.
One of the best places to train Jiu-Jitsu in Hillsboro area! The classes and training are top notch and good for competition. The coaches Adam and Danniel are very friendly and knowledgeable. The students are very friendly and warm too! It’s a very nice place to train and definitely come check it out. It’s both beginner and advanced practitioner friendly!
