I can’t say enough good things about this gym. The instruction is top notch, the environment is welcoming, and the level of training here is outstanding. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have been training for years, everyone is treated with respect and pushed to improve every day. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely care about your progress both on and off the mats. The culture here is what really sets this place apart great people, tough training, and a team atmosphere that makes you want to keep showing up. If you’re thinking about starting Brazilian Jiu Jitsu or looking for a new gym, this is the place to be. Highly recommend.
This weekend we were in town for an AGF jiu jitsu tournament and needed to get in some last minute training. We went to Outsiders on a good friend’s recommendation and had a great time! The gym was clean, welcoming, spacious and had a great area for my one year old to safely play while my other daughter, Ellie, trained. Randy and Julia were very knowledgeable and gave her some great tips. We look forward to visiting again, and would recommend anyone in the area to train here as well! Thank you Outsiders!
Awesome gym! Recently took my daughter to a kids BJJ open mat at Outsiders, and the people were very warm and welcoming. The kids coach is amazing, and the gym owner took time out to meet my daughter and visit with her. The other kids were super nice. My daughter is pretty shy but everyone there really made her feel at home, and she made it clear that she would like to go back in the future.
This is the best jiu jitsu and kick boxing gym I have ever seen. It’s welcoming and very girl positive. They have so many classes and different styles of teaching that you will find something that fits your schedule and style. Would highly recommend!
Really wish I had started here sooner. I have been going to the 5:30am zombie jujitsu class for about two weeks now and it is by far my favorite class ever. Julia “the raging panda” Avila teaches her class with a touch of ADHD making for a more casual learning experience that I really enjoy.
Most amazing coaches and training partners you will find in Okc. Kids classes are amazing! I personally wouldn’t train anywhere else.
