Great facility and great coaching. Bedroc is a very family friendly atmosphere and great for all ages. Everyone works as a team and helps each other with technique or motivation. Sensei John and Sensei John Jr have a great way to make sure everyone is involved and understands what they are teaching no matter the class size. I can highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to get into better shape all the way to looking to fight.
The BJJ/Judo program here is top-notch. In addition to providing great training, they are also able to uniquely cater to almost all experience and fitness levels to help people reach their goals. This gym has dedicated clientele that range anywhere from serious MMA fighters to people just trying to get in shape. Not many MMA gyms have the welcoming atmosphere and family-mentality that BEDROC has.
I spoke with John prior to training at his gym. I explained that I was in town for a work conference and I was allowed to train with him and his students. I trained in the striking class and, I was shocked at how young and knowledgeable his lead instructor was. If I'm ever in town again I would definitely head back.
My 10 year hates going out or even putting any effort to do anything however when she comes to this gym she feels safe enough to get out of her shell. She is so tall for her age that they let her join. The adult classes to feel more comfortable. Its a nice and small environment so she enjoys the people as much as the classes. There are so many excuses we can have not to join but it's only a hour a day couple days a week I think I might join the adult classes 😅
I started Jiu Jitsu at Bedroc 2 weeks ago. I would highly recommend this GYM to anyone who is new to Martial Arts. John and Carlos are great instructors and the other students are very welcoming to new comers. Kitty helped me get signed up and made the process super easy.
