I've been a member here for a while now and it's been a tremendous delight to see the team grow and the programs expand over time. The quality of instruction at ITC is phenomenal, with each of the coaches bearing credentials worthy of the priciest schools in the city -- but available to us at affordable rates in a family oriented establishment. Not only are the instructors first rate, but I've had a wonderful experience with the quality of teammates I have here. The environment is safe, friendly, welcoming, and free of common gym pitfalls of overbearing machismo, egoism, or politics. I would definitely recommend ITC to martial artists of all levels looking for a dojo to call home with instructors & training partners who will both challenge you and meet you with utmost patience, depending on what the moment calls for. It's been a wonderful journey and I look forward to seeing my teammates and I grow with this gym. Hope to see a lot of ne
ITC has been amazing! I was pretty nervous starting but after the trial class I’ve never felt more at home. I’m starting with Muay Thai and eventually will pick up Judo. Thanks to the care of the instructors, I feel confident that I will be able to do both. I had a decent amount of questions before starting and Mark was super responsive and helpful. The classes are fun and you are told to go at your own pace. They want you to push yourself, but inspire you to do so rather than talk down to you. I feel accomplished leaving class and with the options available throughout the week, if I miss one I can go to others to keep the consistency going. Plus street parking is very available around the area easy to find (which is refreshing). I continue to feel more and more inspired to push after every class, and I can’t thank the folks ITC enough. Can’t wait to keep growing here 💪🏽
I’ve been training at ITC for about a year and highly recommend it. The classes are challenging and focused on real Muay Thai technique, not just cardio workouts. The training prepares you well for sparring, and the community is welcoming and respectful. Everyone is there to learn, and I’ve met some great training partners along the way. The gym is also clean and well-maintained, which I really appreciate. I always look forward to coming in and training.
On my first day at ITC Judo class I was so nervous I almost didn’t walk in, but as soon as I entered I was warmly greeted, given a gi for my free trial class, and discovered a beginner-friendly environment with no rush, very technical instruction from multiple black belts, and a supportive, ego-free community where everyone helps you improve—after that very first class I knew it was the perfect place for me to learn martial arts long term, and now writing this after my third class I can confidently say I made the right decision.
What a gem of a gym!!! The quality of the instruction is excellent, and the sessions are intense. Be prepared for a good workout. There is ample room for people to train in a clean facility. Sufficient amount of weights, pads, and bags. Good for all levels; plus there are some very serious people here as well. You will have fun here. Classes Mon - Sat, and the price is affordable comparatively. Muay Thai, Judo, and BJJ offered. I hear they are starting up a kids class too.
Was looking for a place to train jiujitsu and found a home. Everyone is super welcoming, and friendly. You get very detailed instructions from the coaches. Clean locker rooms (full length mirror in women’s locker room for selfies) and bathroom. All around great place to come learn bjj.
