I (40yr) have been training at True Grit with my son (13yr) for the past ~2 months. The coaches are great and the classes are structured. The atmosphere is fantastic and everyone is very encouraging and helpful. It’s a great workout and the skills that are taught are great! Their classes are flexible as they’ve allowed me to have my son attend some of the adult classes so we can fit training into our busy schedules. If you’re interested in training this is a great place for it. Give it a try!
If you are looking for a Jiu Jitsu gym no matter what level of experience you are, casual to competitive, definitely make True Grit your first stop. Coach Del, Ryan, adam, and Craig are amazing coaches and want you to have fun while you learn Jiu Jitsu. They even have Muay Thai if you are looking to get into striking. Stop in and come check out what all the buzz is about!

This group of people are more than just a gym. You’re family here. This place was so welcoming to my kid that was VERY nervous to start BJJ when we moved to here from out of state. All the coaches and owners are amazing with everyone they encounter! I can’t say enough praise or gratitude for how much these wonderful individuals have impacted my family and I! 10 out of 10 recommend!
True Grit is an amazing BJJ gym with an amazing group of people. As a beginner, I was nervous to try out BJJ, but I couldn’t be happier that I joined True Grit and am able to learn from some of the best coaches around in Coach Del and Coach Adam.
My daughter has been training at True Grit for over 2 years. The way they teach and train the kids is top notch. I have been training myself since January of 2025 and love it as well. If you want a great atmosphere to train in martial arts, this is definitely the place to join.
