I was in town for some work training and I called Professor Max and he was more than willing to let me come in and grab some classes while I was away from my home BJJ gym. The coaching is great quality and very approachable (no matter your skill level)…ironically I would say the coaching reflects the very personality of Professor Max- approachable and knowledgeable. This genuinely is a great gym to train at and if I was a local I would be a full time member 100%. If you’re local and haven’t tried this gym or if you are worried about trying BJJ for the first time, don’t wait any longer.
I've been training with Coach Max from my White Belt up to my BJJ Black Belt. His techniques and Jiu Jitsu teachings and IQ have been a huge part of my development and skill set. Great instructor and good classmates. You will learn well and learn fast. Update: I've been going here for 3 years or so now. This is still a great place. If you are wanting to learn self-defense, get a good workout, or just grapple this is a great place!
