I initially signed my son up for classes at Tri-Force BJJ, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we’ve made. The coaches are incredibly kind, patient, and encouraging—not just with the kids, but with everyone who walks through the door. The school has a warm, family-friendly atmosphere that makes you feel welcome right away. My son is naturally shy, but over the past nine months, I’ve watched him grow in confidence, develop new skills, and make genuine friendships. Seeing that transformation inspired me to sign up myself, and I only wish I had done it sooner. Tri-Force BJJ is not just a place to learn Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu—it’s a supportive community that helps people of all ages grow both mentally and physically. Tri-Force BJJ is incredibly welcoming to everyone, regardless of fitness level or experience. Whether you're a complete beginner or more advanced, you'll feel supported from day one. The students are fantastic traini
We cannot say enough great things about Tri Force BJJ and Coach Chuck. He has been my son’s coach since he was 4 years old. The impact he’s had on his development both on and off the mats has been incredible. We’ve been with Coach Chuck since day one. Even though my son isn’t there day to day anymore because of his wrestling schedule, he is always welcomed back with open arms whenever he can make it in to train. That kind of loyalty and support says everything about the culture at this gym. My son has done classes and private lessons, and both are absolutely top-notch. The level of instruction, attention to detail, and genuine investment in each athlete is unmatched. He has learned more from Coach Chuck than anyone else in his journey so far. Most importantly, my son absolutely loves every opportunity he gets to practice at Tri Force. It’s hands down the best gym in the area. If you’re looking for high-level training in a positive, fami
If you’re a person like me who has considered jiu jitsu for a while, take the leap and join. Maybe you’ve confined yourself to certain hobbies or interests, but are only truly satisfied by learning and growing. Push past your limitations and do it. Having beginner’s mind continuously in life humbles you to the fact that there’s far more that you don’t know than you do know. Coach Chuck and the team at Tri-Force are super friendly and welcoming. They are helpful and family-oriented, and offer a sense of community. If there’s any anxiety or hesitation you have about starting, this team will make you feel at ease. The coaching is excellent combining expertise, patience, and humor. Personally, I’ve just begun my jiu jitsu journey but the encouragement from Coach Chuck and the team have confirmed I’ve made a great decision. Do the hard thing, challenge yourself, and join Tri-Force if you’re in the area.

His personable nature and unmatched patience make learning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu an enjoyable experience. He takes the time to explain every detail, ensuring that each student, regardless of their skill level, understands the techniques thoroughly. The group of people who train here are incredibly friendly and always willing to help you learn. Whether you're a beginner or experienced, Tri-Force BJJ is an amazing place to train.
I'm absolutely thrilled with my experience at Tri-Force BJJ. From the moment I stepped on the mat, I felt welcomed by everyone. Chuck, Chloa, and even Kris are not only highly skilled instructors but also incredibly supportive, providing personalized guidance for all skill levels. The classes are well-structured, balancing technique with sparring, making every session productive and fun. The facility itself is top-notch—clean, spacious, and equipped with everything you need. I’ve learned so much in a short time and have gained confidence both on and off the mat. The camaraderie among members creates a positive atmosphere that keeps me motivated. If you’re looking for a place to train BJJ, I can’t recommend Tri-Force enough. Five stars all the way!
Tri-Force is hands-down the best place to train in the Tampa Bay area. Coach Chuck is not only at the top of his craft but also an exceptional coach and mentor who genuinely cares about his students. Coaches Chris and Chloa are also fantastic teachers and great training partners. The atmosphere at Tri-Force is incredibly welcoming and everyone looks out for each other both on and off the mats.
