NPR BJJ is truly a 5-star academy for both kids and adults. The kids program is phenomenal!! the coaches are patient, encouraging, and great at teaching discipline, respect, and technique while keeping classes fun and engaging. The adult program is just as impressive. Whether you’re brand new or experienced, the coaching is high-level, detailed, and supportive. Training partners are respectful, the environment is motivating, and every class feels like a step forward both physically and mentally. You’re challenged, pushed to improve, and surrounded by people who want to see you succeed. Clean facility, great culture, top-tier instruction , can’t ask for more. Highly recommend NPR BJJ for the whole family.
Two months ago we decided to have the kids join and the moment we walked into the studio we were warmly greeted by Professor Andrew and he took time to answer our questions then invited the kids for a trial class. Needless to say the kids are hooked. His attention to detail and the way he runs the class for the kids is amazing to watch. Coach Josh and his wife also help out and are great with the kids. Thank you for working with our kids and teaching them BJJ. We hope other parents consider this valuable discipline and stop in the studio like we did and give it a try! If you ain’t rollin get strollin!
Highly recommend this gym for anyone looking for a way to keep in shape! I was very hesitant as a woman to try out jiu-jitsu for years because I was not sure about how comfortable I was grappling on the ground with people I did not know. Today changed that for me visiting Andrews gym! It was a ton of fun and Andrew makes learning jiu-jitsu easy to follow and because he is so skilled in his practice, there was not a moment where I felt uncomfortable. Each move was explained clearly and professionally, and I was able to watch others perform the moves before I was given the opportunity to try. I cannot say thank you enough to Andrew for taking the time to teach me today for my first class! Super excited to get started and learn this amazing sport. It will be useful for self-defense and also keeping in shape. If you ever thought about trying out jiu-jitsu this is the place to go! His pricing is also less than anyone in the area and the coup
Studio NPR BJJ is an outstanding academy, especially for kids. Professor Andrew is incredibly patient and has a true gift for teaching. He takes the time to make sure every child understands not just the technique, but all the small details that make it effective. His vast knowledge and experience on the mats come from years of dedicated training and competing. He has earned notable achievements in IBJJF tournaments, and that high-level experience really shows in the way he teaches and builds confidence in his students. Highly recommend Studio NPR BJJ to any parent looking for a safe, positive, and high-quality training environment!
We’ve been waiting for a place like this to open up for a very long time! A place for comrades and athletes alike. Andrew has evidently put his heart and soul into this dojo and it is undeniable by his dedication and success thus far. Aesthetically pleasing, thoughtfully designed, meticulously cleaned and maintained. We have our nephew in classes and he has been raving about Studio NPR since it opened and he’s been proudly sporting all of the merch. He seems to have a new found sense of purpose and passion. It’s awesome to see. We anticipate great and many things from Studio NPR. What an incredible place and Jiu Jitsu family. The location is great too with a nearby parking garage and plenty to do before and after classes. Easy 5 stars!
Andrew has truly dedicated his life to Jiu-Jitsu, and it shows in every class he teaches. The level of detail he brings to each technique, the structure of his instruction, and the overall culture of the gym reflect his passion and commitment. His focus on strong fundamentals creates a solid foundation for students at every level. I’m especially impressed with how much progress his newer students have made in such a short period of time — their proficiency speaks volumes about the quality of instruction. Andrew is not only highly skilled but also genuinely takes pride in what he does, and it makes a huge difference. Highly recommend this gym to anyone serious about learning and growing in Jiu-Jitsu!
