Training here is like having a second family. RMNU HQ jiu jitsu gym has a strong sense of community and camaraderie, which is very important to me. They show respect and attention to all belt levels, regardless if it's your first class or if you've been there for years. All belt levels roll with each other and there are no big egos here. There is a reception and waiting area for families, the gym is well maintained, bathrooms are always clean and well stocked, and there is a water fountain available. Robson teaches most classes himself, and some classes are taught by Rodrigo and Bobby, who are also very skilled. There is a wide selection of classes taught daily during the week (morning, afternoon, and evening), various class difficulty levels (fundamentals, advanced, and competition), and gi and no-gi class options. Whether you are a jiu jitsu beginner or a veteran, this is an excellent place to train!
About three weeks ago, my wife and I walked in to check out this academy and was greeted right away at the door by Duda. She was very friendly and professional and answered all of our questions. She then allowed us to go behind the wall to check out the facility and we noticed how clean and organized this place was. We checked out another BJJ academy and it wasn’t as clean and structured as Robson Moura’s. While checking out the training session that was taking place, Robson saw us and came up to us and welcomed us and talked a little bit with us. We were amazed at how friendly everyone was. My wife and I both decided to sign up and even got our 12 year old daughter to sign up. All three of us are now training and we love every minute of it! Robson Moura Jiu-Jitsu Academy is an incredible place to train. Whether your goal is to get in shape, compete in the highest level of competition, or just to explore a fun healthy hobby : RMBJJ is the place to go. Everyone at this academy including the front desk, students, and Professor Robson himself were extremely friendly and welcoming. Students and staff are genuinely happy to be there. Although I did not see the children's program, I spoke to one of the guys I trained with in the adult program whose sons are enrolled and he had nothing but great things to say about that program as well. The facility itself was spacious and clean and classes were organized and ran on time. I will definitely be training here again and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone in the Tampa area.
