We absolutely love this BJJ academy! My daughter trains here, and I also train in the adult classes, so it truly feels like our second home. The atmosphere is welcoming, positive, and very family-oriented. Coach Sandra is amazing with the kids patient, caring, and great at building confidence while teaching solid jiu-jitsu. Coach Haakon is energetic, encouraging, and excellent at breaking down techniques so everyone can learn and improve. Coach Renan is an outstanding instructor with deep knowledge and a true passion for jiu-jitsu that inspires both kids and adults. This academy feels like a family, and we are so grateful to be a part of it. Highly recommend!
Jim-Jitsu has truly changed my granddaughter life. Since starting training we”ve seen a huge improvement in her confidence focus and discipline. She carries herself with more self esteem participates more in school and her grades have noticeably improved well. The instructors are patient encouraging and truly care about the kids not just athletes but a student and individual. The environment is positive respectful and motivating. We are grateful for the impact this program has had on her both on and off the mat. Highly recommend to any parent or grandparent looking to build confidence character and academic focus in their child.
Training here has been such a wonderful experience. From the very first class, I felt genuinely welcomed and supported. The coaches are not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also patient, motivating, and truly invested in helping everyone grow especially beginners. I’ve gained so much confidence and knowledge in every single class, and I’m so grateful for the time I spent here. If you’re even thinking about trying Jiu-Jitsu, this is absolutely the place to start!

Amazing place! I reached out to see if I could train as I was going to spend a few weeks in the area. They quickly replied and welcomed me to their school. Professor Sandra, Renan, and Haakon showed great hospitality and friendliness. The sessions with Renan were filled with knowledge. The school is run with the right mind set. Great vibes from all the students with no "aggressive egos". Everyone trains hard but with respect and carefulness not to injure themselves nor your partner. Much appreciate the opportunity for letting me join and learn from you. When I return to the area, I know who to call!
MCDC is outstanding!! It has the rare combination of excellent, actually world-class, coaching with a down-home family feel. We love being in the warm, friendly atmosphere and it is also super clean! And the most amazing thing about it is the prices are the absolute lowest in our area. It’s hard to believe a place like this even exists! SO grateful!!!
